I'm from Pa., just outside of Philly, but I enjoyed my brief stop in there one Saturday afternoon during the summer of '08. Some friends of mine, and I had just left Cowtown flea market, and we decided to have a cold one, or three. I had passed this place several times in the course of my job, which is delivering. I had always thought it looked like a cool neighborhood bar. We stopped in had 3 or 4, and rolled. The service was prompt, and friendly. The beer cold. A good jukebox, and 2 or 3 pool tables. They had me at cold beer, but ya gotta love a place with a good box, and pool tables. My friend loved the old school brand bottles available of Pabst Blue Ribbon, and Genessee Cream Ale. There wasn't a large crowd, but this was Saturday mid-afternoon. I disagree with previous reviewer's statement that you don't come here to meet people. I don't see why you wouldn't come here to meet someone. Everyone we met that day was nice.

This is definitely a place for the locals to come and hang out. The bar is fun and a good place to hang out with friends. It is definitely not a place to come to meet people.
