Studio Fitness was very sanitary which is definitely a plus. They even had little disinfecting sheets by each machine so you could wipe off the sweat from the machines. This made me happy.

Hi, my name is Jennifer and I own Studio Fitness. To beccanorm, I do apologize that you did not have a good experience when you came in to our studio. I wish I knew who it was with whom you spoke. Hopefully you'll see this, and give us another shot. Feel free to be in touch, and I will gladly send you a free class card for you to try Pilates or yoga, belly dancing or Tai Chi, or any other mat class that might fit with your schedule.

Our studio doesn't have membership fees, and we typically run in 10-week sessions. Mat classes cost $150 per session, which works out to be $15/class. Drop-in fees are $20. We welcome people to join even after the session has started, with prices then prorated. More info can be found on our website.

Pros: Small, intimate class sizes; good value for the money

Having just moved here from California, I was surprised to discover so many yoga/pilates studios in the area. After finding this one on the way to my office, I decided to check it out because it's just down the street from my house. It's actually a shame that it's so close, because I doubt that I'll be back. It's certainly looks nice and tidy enough, but once inside, the story changes. They seem a bit disorganized with their class schedule and the pricing is suspect (not posted from what I could see). More importantly, there was a class going on and I was made to feel like more of an imposition than potential customer. There was no one there to really help me initially, and when someone did come over, it felt like an interrogation because I'm new in town (how did you hear about us?, where do you live?, what do you do? etc...pretty normal questions...but not friendly...felt like a "sizing-up"). I quickly said that I was just looking and left....definitely not a great first impression. Well, maybe I'll be luckier with the other place down the street!

Pros: nice looking place.

Cons: didn't feel welcomed.
