Norma's is a quaint, authentic Arab restaurant that offers friendly service and perfectly prepared food. Don't forget to check out CousCous right next door, which is only open on certain nights, but which offers a great evening out. Just for the record, they're not Greek.

I've been here several times and the food has never disappointed! Most of the staff is vegan so they have a large vegan menu. Although it's pricey, I recommend the $25 dealie that allows you to try a bit of everything. I can assure you that there will be leftovers to take home. It's BYOB so bring your own B! And if you visit on the weekends, you can be entertained by belly dancers! Great place for a group of people.

The highlight of this endeavour was the belly dancing. The woman came right up to the table and talked to us for a bit in between sessions. The food was okay. I like Moroccan food and this was just okay. It is served family style, so if you don't particularly like one thing, you can try another. It was worth going once.

This place is great! It's warm and inviting and the food is absolutely wonderful. The owner has such a passion for what he does that it truely comes across in his dishes and the warm way he treats his guests. It's unlike any other restaurant I've been to. You get more than just a great meal, it's a whole experiance.

Like most ethnic restaurants this was not exactly like any other Middle Eastern food I had had before, but it was delicious and my husband and I enjoyed every bite. We had kibbe, falafel, hummous, stuffed grape leaves, tabbouleh, and lamb kabobs. It was all good -- even as leftovers. The atmosphere was quite pleasant and the service was good. If you have an urge to prepare Middle Eastern food for yourself there is even a small market attached to it. I have a large jar of tahini from there in my fridge right now -- very good. We will be going back to Norma's!

Whenever I get the chance, I stop at Normas to pick up my lunch. I love to browse the displays of exotic foods in the grocery section while I'm waiting for my meal to be prepared. If you go for dinner or lunch, be sure to check out the grocery section and try some of the candy. It is very, very special!!

This restaurant has decent food and the service was friendly. However it was lighting was dim and the place didn't seem extremely clean. Also, it can get a little smoky in here and many teens come to visit and tend to be a little rowdy at times.

I was looking forward to eating at Norma's after reading all the rave reviews on Yelp dot com. Either those reviewers are relatives and friends of the owners or the restaurant has gone downhill since those reviews.

Anyway, I'm a big gyro fan and have eaten gyros at several places, mostly pizza shops. So I ordered a gyro at Norma's. Man, what a joke that thing was. It was all wrapped up tight like a turkey wrap or something you get at a deli.

So the appearance was not good. I opened it up and didn't see any lettuce or olives. Basically it just had the lamb meat, onions, tomatoes, and sauce. The pita bread was very flat like a tortilla wrap. If that was a traditional gyro, then I rather have the Americanized version at the pizza shops any day.

I ordered a mint tea also, which was ok. You'd figure that they'd garnish it with at least one mint leaf for presentation, but nope, they didn't. My girlfriend ordered the Shawarma Combination which was nothing to rave about either.

Lastly, the service was slow considering that there we were the only two in the restaurant at first. I would not recommend this place to anyone. At least they were not too pricey so it wasn't hard on my wallet.

Norma's has great, flavorful meditteranean food. The lamb and kabobs are delicious. I recommend the Kafta combination, which includes tabouli salad, lamb and hummus. I used to eat here at least twice a month, it was that good.

Cous Cous and Norma's next door underwent renovations in 2005, the new location is two separate restuarants with a small Lebanese grocery in between. Live entertainment on weekends, you'll be amazed how belly dancing keeps the kids attention. Food is authentic and service is traditional (which means take time to enjoy your meal!)

We have found the service to be just okay at Normas and the food not as good as other Greek restaurants but it is convenient and not generally crowded, reasonably priced
