Nina's Deli and Restaurant is a really good place to eat lunch, especially this time of year. There is no better place to get a hot bowl of soup and a sandwhich from wonderful workers.

Nina's Deli is a super place to grab your lunch when you are in a hurry. The selection of soups and sandwiches that you can get are endless. Great employees help make the visit that much better.

This is a specific response to the young lady who calls herself "beachbumm". The misrepresentations of this so-called review are simply unbelievable. There are so many missing pieces here, that I have to post a series of corrections to this young lady's account.

1. She drives up in a recent BMW and double parks in front of my restaurant.
2. She orders 2 specialty sandwiches, pays for them, and leaves the premises without complaint, total cost is 16.05 (7.50 x 2, plus 7% NJ State Sales Tax). Not 19.00 as erroneously stated.
3. By leaving the premises, she gets in her BMW and drives away.
4. Approximately one (1) minute passes, and she re-enters the premises, rudely ordering me to give her back her money, because she believes the price is too high.

At this moment, we have to pause and think carefully about her actions. If the price is too high, why purchase the items in the first place? Why get in your BMW, and drive away? Doesn't this individual know how to read a menu?

5. I politely but firmly informed this young lady, that I could not take the food back after it had left the premises. As a member of a food preparation establishment, I have no idea if she handled, mishandled, abused, spat, or inserted inedible broken glass into the food. Anyone with the tiniest bit of common sense would understand this.
6. As a matter of business principle and basic human respect, I do not "go crazy", or rant, or rave or physically charge at customers to hurt them. Obviously, as anyone can see, this young lady has let her emotionalism get the best of her.
7. Of course, she completely ignores the fact that she called the police to complain about the outcome of "The Great Sandwich Adventure of Cherry Hill". Two (2) police cars showed up approx. 12 minutes later in front the store to cater to her complaint. In which I was asked by police about what happened. Obviously, she was wrong, I was right.

Owner is a little nuts???? More like psychotic! During my latest and LAST visit to Nina's I noticed that he charged me 19.00 dollars for Two turkey and cheese hoagies, I politely told him that i had thought that he over charged me. I could immediately tell that he was completely uncomfortable as he tried to explain how he didn't. I pointed out the obvious, that his "specialty sandwiches" were only 7.45 and even two of them would not come close to what he had charged me. He then went crazy, cussing, ranting and raving about how he "couldn't take these customers," and how he wasn't giving me my money back. After calling me every name in the book , I (a 5'2" GIRL) was then chased out of the store by him charging at me as if he were going to hurt me. ABSOLUTELY INSANE I can hardly believe this happened. I have since heard through the grape-vine, that he is going bankrupt, GOOD RIDDANCE! Just because he is running out of money, doesn't mean he can treat people in such a way, and basically steal from them. After all, I work just as hard for my money as anyone else does.

What a nice little place! Really yummy sandwiches and fresh soups. I see that the owner really cares, unlike other places I've been to. He's a little nuts, but I guess that's good. Since this is an open kitchen, I saw the way things are made, and literally everything is made to order and cut to order. There's a whole bunch of knives that look like machetes hanging on the wall. All I can say, don't the owner mad at you. One word, the sandwiches are large and filling, so you might not be able to finish it all in one sitting. Oh yea, the owner said that all the soups are homemade, by the looks and taste of it, I'm sure it is.
