When this location first opened, we went for the special two dinners for $20 promotion. They still have something similar in place. Perhaps it was new back then because the portions were embarrassingly small and toppings like cheese or sauce were so frugal you could count the shards of shredded cheese on your potato skins. Portion control is strict at all national chains.

I'm glad to say trips back in recent times proved to be more in line with what we had driven up to the Fashion Center location for. We've also tried the Totowa NJ, and Alameda California franchises, and we prefer the community feel of the decor and the atmosphere over the din of a TGI Fridays or the revamped chic of Houlihans. The wait is going to be long at any dining establishment if you insist on 8pm or later weekend dining hours. Especially with kids, if you hit these joints before 7pm, even as early as 5 or 6 so you can catch other evening entertainment before bedtime, you'll find the experience much more enjoyable.

For a party of two, you can't be the bar's no waiting policy for a date night stop. TVs are situated to provide the usual sports related fare. If you skip the alcoholic specialty drinks in favor of simple beer or wine, you can trim the bill by quite a bit. The service has always been fast and friendly, accommodating any group size or special dietary needs if at all possible.
