I was at the 40/40 Club this past weekend and I must say I was not expecting such a fun and professional place. Every aspect of the venue is extremely exceptional and I will definitely be going back next time I am in Atlantic City.
P.S.

Not many establishments play the mix of Hip-Hop/R & B/Reggae like the 40/40 does. The DJ's are amazing! My girls and I danced for the entire night and I can't wait to go back. Everyone is bugging about the prices. I had 3 of my girls

Last Saturday night the Delta's held their 2nd party of the year so far at the 40/40. It was amazing. We were all given access VIP access to the 2nd floor of the club where all the VIP rooms are with pool tables, flat screens, leather

I had never been to AC before but one of my girls got a comped room at Caesars last Saturday night. We asked the concierge for some of the local clubs that would have hip-hop. At 1st he recommended Dusk which is inside Caesar's which was

I went here last week for a party and was treated so rude by the managers, who think there club is the hottest thing on earth, they must be crazy!! These guys look like there about 25 and have no idea what there doing, this club is not making any money everytime i come here or ny its DEAD. every rating about 40/40 is bad so that should be a warning to you! if you want to see for yourself go ahead but trust you will never be back. Unless your a celebrity (which you will never see there) Dont expect an ounce of respect at the 40/40!!!! you'll have a better chance at the borgata. that whole casino is hot.

I have been to the 40/40 Club in NYC twice before and never had an issue either time. The music was great the crowd was cool and the drinks were awesome. My friend decided to go out to the location in Atlantic City, NJ for her birthday last weekend and what a horror!!! It was the night of the De La Hoya fight and even though the fight was OVER by the time we arrived (11:30pm) we were instructed to pay $20 cover charge. I advised the bouncers that my friend was already having a birthday event and we showed our invitations to get inside. The bouncers said it didn't matter and we had to pay. The bouncer then spoke to another bouncer who advised it would be $10 after 12 so we left and came back at 12 only to be told by the same bouncer that it was $20! We had to go back and forth until FINALLY they let us in for $10! This is a breach in contract because my friend was advised that there is NEVER a cover charge to get inside and also because she had paid in advance for one of their birthday packages that there was to be NO COVER CHARGE FOR GUESTS! Also the quality of people inside was low grade. H00chies and wh0res everywhere. Girls wearing spandex tunics with no underwear bending over and showing their crotch! Once we got upstairs to the ESPN room we one of the staff walked up to my friend to advise her 'Ummm u have 2 hours" and walked out. The woman was rude, coming into the room ever 20 mins to see if we were buying alcohol and food. Mind you there was no one fighting to even be in the VIP area cuz the club wasn't even at capacity! By the end of the night our party had spend over $1,000 in there and this broad was still giving us the side eye! There was one staff member named Rosemary who was very accomodating and nice and made up for all of the negative moments that occurred that night. She deserves a raise and every1 else at this place should be fired! I will never go back and don't recommend it for anyone else EVER! Two stars only because the music was good!

Pros: Great Music and Drinks! Ambience. Rosemary for being friendly, respectful and accomodating

Cons: Misleading information about COVER CHARGE! Rude and unprofessional staff!

Clearly, Jay-Z has not patronized his own club:-\ This place was a high-school house-party- full of drunk, raunchy and scantily-clad 21 year-olds (or younger)- After patronizing 40/40 in NYC, we were expecting a similar experience in the Atlantic City spin-off but were SO disappointed with what we found. After standing on a line in the freezing cold due to short-staffing (3 lines and only 1 female and 1 male security attendant), we entered the club and immediately encountered a very adolescent crowd throwing drinks and thrashing like wild animals- The supposedly VIP bleacher section with the lovely white seating was immersed with kids standing on top of the seats and grinding each other on the table tops! It was outrageous- Apparently many patrons agreed with us as our walk around the club to exit was greeted with the same long line for patrons trying to obtain their coats from the coat check as we encountered when trying to enter the club. I can't even tell you about the bar - there was so much craziness going on inside, the bar wasn't even visible! If we would've paid to get in, I'd be even more disappointed - but next time, I will pay attention to the steady handfuls of patrons leaving while I'm standing on line to enter! Jay-Z, what happened here???!!! Boy, we expected so much more- This place needs some serious revamping- We went to the Toga Bar in Caesar's Palace and enjoyed our night from there being surrounded with ADULTS and several cocktails after enduring that melee! The 7 minutes we spent in that place was 7 minutes TOO long- Go at your own risk!!!

Pros: Walking distance to OTHER clubs and bars to go to!

Cons: Very young crowd (21 and under it seemed), raunchy, dirty
