This proved to be one of my worst dining experiences. I felt totally taken advantage of. The waiter asked if we wanted soda and I told him to bring just plain water. He brought out 2 plastic bottles of water. He brought the wrong appetizer even though I showed it to him on the menu. The side dishes on the entrees (that were already on the plates) were reversed and he made us do the switching of the item. The dessert menu looked large and gave the impression of a nice assortment. It turned out that they only had 2 items. The restaurant put on an 18% gratuity. The menu shown on line says tax, service charge and tip not included. Each bottle of water (with tax and tip) ended up costing $3.75. The restaurant was not busy but service was slow. I felt taken advantage of and would definitely not return. The Russian Dream turned out to be the Russian Nightmare

Order the appetizers and forget the dinner. Fried potatoes were good, as well as the beef pierogi. Lamb chops which should be rare, were served very well done. Dinner came with peas as a vegetable. The peas were COLD, and straight from the can. It seems, the peas are considered cooked when they are canned. Very disappointing!

Russian Dream was the first time I had tried Russian food. Since it is near my house, my family and I decided to try it. Since I've never eaten Russian food, I can't say for sure that the food was definitely Russian (you will have to trust the restaurant for that) but the food was definitely good. Give it a try if you have not yet.
