What a great place for some good Indian food. I usually get the 2 meat combo, with one meat always being the rogan josh. I don't know what it is, but I have to get it every time. It's delicious! Comes with naan and what looks like some

I didn't like my meal, but at the same time I had no idea what I was ordering. I ordered Chicken Curry and it came out over rice in an orange sauce. I was expecting a certain flavor and it wasn't so I think that threw me off. Not saying you shouldn't try, it just wasn't my cup of tea.

I was shocked the first time I went here because it really does look like it's in the middle of no where. Despite its random location the place is always packed whenever I go - because the food is so good! Enormous portions. Go for a combo meal, it's the best deal. The Chicken Palak and Chicken Makhni are my favorite. The owners are very nice. Great environment!

This family owned restaurant is one of the hidden gems of the office/business district of Miramar Road. You really do need to find the place, hidden in between office buildings yet fitting in perfectly with the surrounding area. Known for its very affordable and great tasting food, this place usually is full or bound to be full with college students and other customers. The seating inside is enough for large parties and outdoor seating can accommodate large and small groups. Although it may not be decorated very fancy and the tables aren't made from the best oak around the food makes up for it. Lunch and dinner specials are available and they cook it fresh when you order so the food tastes so much better than if it were cooked before and then served as a buffett. Personally I usually get one of the three main combos that come with a curry, samosas, rice, dessert and nan, oh man I could live on nan. Their garlic nan is even tastier! They do have large meals that can be enough for 2 or more and have vegetable curries so vegetarians you are sure to love it. It's cool because you can get take out there too so call in your order ahead of time and pick it up so it's ready to eat when you get back home. I've been there several times now and actually got recognized by the main chef; it really is a cool little mom and pop shop that knows how to make a good meal. Oh and if you're worried about spiciness, it's really not that bad, you can handle it I'm sure. Overall it gets a great rating and I highly recommend it to anyone in the area or anyone who attends UCSD because it really is something you need to try because you'll keep hearing about it from friends.
