Good food, and fun. If you're looking for romance and quiet to have deep conversations, this isn't the place for you.

Shinsengumi is really popular among my friends because the food is really cheap and I think you get a free refill on noodles if you have broth left. I personally do not love ramen, but I've always found something else to order. The only downside is that it's usually crowded and you have to wait.

This shinsengumi is in Pacific Square's Marukai. It's kind of hidden in the small food court inside of the actual market. There is only seating at the bar and there are some tables close by but seating is not to be found on busy days or times. The ramen here is just as good as ramen at any Shinsengumi shop.

This restaurant is actually inside of a market and doesn't have a nice outward appearance; however, if you order the pork noodles it is comparable to Shinsengumi in Fountain Valley. The Shinsengumi noodles is something that has to be experienced before you die. ahahha, but really yes. Price ranges from $6 - $8, worth every penny. Plus the dumplings are off the hook too. Get it.
