Edwards Mira Mesa Stadium

With the cost of movies these day you want to get a great experience with the show. Edwards provides that feel. When you walk in it's nicely decorated and spacious. There's never a real long wait for concessions because when it's busy they open new lines, have additional stations at the sides. The theater and the bathrooms are clean. Kids booster seats are available. And they have an IMAX screen (tickets cost a few dollars more). Lastly free sign up for a Regal card is worth it. I haven't received any "spam" from signing up and you get some freebies once in a while. Works well if going to movies with a group (just collect money from the group and purchase all under your card :) ). I got a free movie ticket!
The one bad...on a busy weekend night parking is tough be sure to go a little early.

We always go to Edwards Mira Mesa. It's a huge movie theater with comfy seaty and beautiful theaters. They now have the Imax theater.

After a movie, you can go to Panera Bread, Islands, Pat and Oscars or Buca di Beppo for dinner.

I recommend this movie theater.

Service is quick and the workers are usually friendly. It's always crowded on fridays & saturdays. It's the usual hangout for little middle schools students, so be prepared to meet teeny-boppers and wannabe gangsters. :)

Edwards Mira Mesa is one of the few places that offer IMAX. It is located kind of far away from most things, but if you have the time and gas money, drive out here because it is worth it. The theaters are all stadium style seating so that person sitting in front of you will not block your view like other places. It is a little more expensive than other places but you pay for the upgrades and good view. The speakers are really good and you can hear the audio really well. They also have good concession stands and pretty fast lines. The only bad part is that parking may be a little hard to find but you just park a little farther away in the lot.
