Great song choices

by Angela Y. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,449

This place is an inexpensive and fun place to karaoke at. They have different sized rooms depending on your group, and the room comes equipped with a disco ball! (haha.. could be cooler though)

They have a pretty good song collection, but I wish they would update it to add more current songs. Also, like any other Asian karaoke place the music videos are extremely awkward and funny.

If you come with a big group you can karaoke for insanely cheap and have fun. Of course I've found places in LA that are better but eh, karaoke is karaoke! :)

J Music

Lots of songs, lets you be as loud as you want, fast service, the videos are strange, but are fun to laugh at, and there's even a disco ball. Very nice environment and fun activity to do with a bunch of friends and its affordable!

J Music Studio

Good place to sing along to your favorite songs and get drunk. They don't have the most recent songs; they usually take weeks to update them. Chill place and they allow you to bring your own liquor

Lots of selections!!

by Elayna N. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,036

J Music Studio is the place to be for some fun drunken singing with your friends. The prices can add up to a lot but you can split it with all the friends you stuff into your room. The music selection is great! They usually keep their music fairly updated with songs you would hear off the radio. You can sing as loud as you want here and the rooms are pretty spacious. They also give you tamborines if you ask for them. The videos are kind of random but that is to be expected of an Asian karaoke place. Also, if you want to bring stuff into the rooms like food or drinks, they are usually pretty lenient. This place can get very crowded on a weekend so if there is a line, don't try to wait because it usually takes too long for the next group to leave.
