Algoma Estates

Managment is terrible! Never available and plays favorites. We have all heard "trailer trash". This place is! Looks are VERY misleading!

Cons: Play ground covered in trash and graffiti, some yards look like they are having yard sales everyday!

This park is one of the best parks if you prefer to stay in your home all the time. If you step outside be prepared, the property managers will run down your throat over trivial items. An example of this is how my trailer has air conditionars mounted in the windows. This has been fine for the window in the rear for ten years and the window up front for three years, but now these are somehow mounted wrong. Algoma did not offer to give suggestions on what is wrong with these and only gave a date for these to be corrected. Not only this but in winter do not expect to be able to drive in the park. The property manager only has some of the snow removed, leaving about an inch or so on the ground. Ice forms quickly and is very troublesome at the stop signs. Just a tiny annoyance is how you will have to pay for rent. Algoma Estates does not have anything modern, meaning you will not be able to pay with credit, debit cards or even by check. Be prepared, ever month you have to dish out the money for a money order to pay rent. Don't expect anyone to know what is going on either. One person in the office will tell you that your payment is not late, but then you will recieve a letter in the mail asking for your late payment. Overall this park has "blind" management with maintenance personnel that are given too much power.
