I was having issues with my furnace during the dead of winter so I called these guys to have them send a technician. The technician showed up 2 hours later than I was told which was a nuisance but not my primary complaint. This technician immediately deemed that I needed a new furnace. The furnace that they quoted me was not the furnace they installed. Ted, the technician who quoted this furnace, stated that the furnace they were going to install next day qualified for the Energy Tax Credit. However, now I'm finding out that this isn't the case. They installed a lower grade furnace than those that qualify for the tax credit. Not to mention, when they installed this furnace, they never hooked up my humidifier or informed me of any potential issues with it. They also took significantly longer than the time they quoted me, and didn't inform me when the work was completed, the installer just left. Later on that night, I realized that they had shut off the gas to my water heater and didn't turn it back on. Apparently, turning back on the water heater is not their responsibility... I had to do this myself which isn't a big deal but as you can see, there is a pattern of times where this company failed to communicate information to me appropriately. It wasn't until I got my air conditioning fixed that the technician informed me the humidifier wasn't hooked up. I called David's Heating & Cooling again to come out and check why the humidifier wasn't hooked up and they of course told me it was broken and needed to be replaced. I was never informed of this during the furnace installation and they still charged me full price parts/labor. When I called the company to get this resolved, I dealt directly with David, and he informed me that I'm misinformed. Funny, because it was his company that misinformed me. When trying to reach a resolution on this, David was unwilling to help. There is now a pending investigation from the Attorney General and BBB about the crooked practices of this company. I would not recommend anyone deal with this company.
