I called LUC to see if they removed ingrown toenails. They responded that yes, they did and I should come in to have it removed. I waited for around 45 minutes (as is expected at an urgent care establishment) and was seen by a PA who told me that I needed to be on an antibiotic before they could perform that procedure. She wrote me a prescription and told me to come in the next day to have it removed. I frustratingly obliged, and came in the next day to wait another 45 minutes to have another PA tell me that they DON'T do that procedure at their office. Two months later, I receive a bill for the $50 co-pay that I paid at my initial visit. The bill states that I paid $0 when I actually paid the co-pay in full and have the receipt to prove it. I call around 8:30AM (they open at 8) and the phones are not being answered and the machine is full.\r\n\r\nThis place is a joke. I would rather wait in an emergency room than return to this unorganized establishment. I will never return and I will never recommend this office to anyone.

I was recommeded Lansing Urgent Care by a couple of different friends that just raved about it. They were absolutely correct. When you walk through the door the first thing you notice was a warm and welcoming lobby - the chairs were comfortable, there was a good sized TV, a fish tank and even a fire place! The receptionist was friendly and welcoming, she gave me my paperwork, which only took a few minutes to fill out. I only waited about 10 minutes before I was brought back to a room by a staff member who was extremely friendly. The exam room was pretty big compared to other places I have been and best of all there was a TV in it! It was also VERY CLEAN, the whole place was. A few minutes later the doctor came in - he was the one that is on the commercials. He was terrific, one of the best doctors I have ever seen. I find that a lot of doctors rush you and don't really listen, but this doctor really listened to me and was very thorough and seemed to be very caring and down to earth. He took time to explain to me what I had and also all of the medications that he was going to give me, then he asked if I had any questions. After he left another very friendly staff member came in and went over all of the medications and instructions from the doctor again. The whole visit took about 40 minutes from the time I walked in the door to the time I walked out. This was hands down the best experience I have ever had at a doctors office. This is the only redicare I will ever go to from now on. If your sick or hurt, go to Lansing Urgent Care, you won't be disappointed.
