Everything about World of CDROM is great. The staff has a very helpful attitude, turn-around time is quick and support is local. They have built four systems for me and Josh has taken the time on each occasion to select the components that will give me the system I want and need. I truly appreciate having a local person to call on for support, too.

Printer started having some troubles. Started getting paper stuck a lot. We took it in and they got it fixed up by the end of the week. Nice boys down there thanks for your help.

Went in to get some new RAM. Showed a photo of what I needed and the specification it had to fit. Sold me the DDR3 instead of DDR2 so I had to go back and exchange it. Went home to install and it wouldn't work. A REAL computer professional explained to me that they sold me the wrong item for my computer and anyone who actually knew what they were doing would know that. Ended up having to go to the store 3 times in 1 hour and it cost me $10 because of a restocking fee. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

SBC left her really confused when she got her router, but World of CD-ROM simplified everything for her. They sent someone out to come to her house to set everything up and even called into SBC for her and got everything activated. The guy that came out was very polite and patient with her questions. We were so grateful for World of Cd-roms help and recommend them to anyone.

Computer got blown up with the storms... Brought it in and the guy was able to move all my stuff over to a new one. Did it for free when I got the new one! Found a coupon in the phone book too :)

The second and third time I purchased from them I asked for a discount, which is pretty typical in the computer business. Retail prices are normally much higher than online prices. Both times they offered me a discount that I felt was fair. I recommend this business.

This spring I took my desktop computer there to figure out why it would shut down on me randomly. Gave them the 7 days they asked for to diagnose it, started calling on the 8th or 9th day to find out what the problem was - they said they hadn't gotten to it yet. Called on day 14 to say I was going to pick it up, suddenly they had an answer for me: the motherboard. Spent money elsewhere to replace the motherboard, started it up, didn't fix the problem. Ended up buying new memory, fixed it. Couldn't return the motherboard. Recently took a laptop there because the screen wasn't lighting. They said it was a small convertor. Tried 2 different ones, didn't fix the problem. Took the computer apart myself, found that one of the bulbs had burned out, and the screen doesn't light if both aren't working. Can't get the money back due to it being ""outside of warranty."" Should have learned after the first bad experience. DON'T TAKE YOUR COMPUTER HERE.

they never fixed my lap top then they want to charge me 200.00, for what???? it is not fixed and they cannot figure out how to fix it.\r\nwill never go back again. they told me toi begin with it was a 39.99 diagnostice fee and if it can be fixed they will tell me the additional costs. they said if it can't they will only charge the 39.99 fee. not on top of the fee they want to charge over 200.00. the computer is not fixed.\r\nbad place. i run a daycare and use the computer for the kids and business. now I have to figure out a way to get a new one which is hard to do. they take advantage of honest hard working people.
