Been going there on and off for years and believe it's one of the best in the Midwest. The indoor pool is nice on chilly days and the outdoor conversation pool is great for soaking.

One thing that lacks are more shade tree areas between the beach and clubhouse. We normally park off the road and set up a 10 x 10 canopy and lounge in the shade between walks and dips in the pools.

We plan to visit TLR again this summer (2016)

Ok, I was a member of TLR for nine years, and I can say with certainty, that it used to be a lot more fun before the management changed hands around six years ago. My family and I are no longer members. the new management are simply sucking out everything that used to be fun; removing trees, slicing up people's lots, and making you feel quite unwelcome if you're a non-member. The only real thing left to do is ride around on golf carts and talk to people --"relaxing" .I still give this three stars because the people there are mostly awesome. I seriously recommend staying in the One Hundred section, in the lower part. The people THERE are amazing. I made so many friends over the years. The people giving it rave reviews simply havent been at the campground long enough to realize exactly how boring it can be. (I do absolutely recomend it during a Convention though, its alot of fun with all the excess stuff to do.)

TL was a nice place for our fam 1st visit to a nat.resort. Our oldest, Jason (13), wasn't too excited to attend but said he would. During our tour he did not see any kids close to his age except one boy eating with his dad in the cafe. Dad was nude but the boy (14) had on baggy shorts and T. Jason announced that he would not be nude at all since this boy obviously wasn't. We said fine. Later we saw this same boy, nude, playing mini golf with his fam. A few min.later we also saw 3 kids his age (nude) playing video games/pool. He announced that he was ready to give it a try but was nervous around his mom and sis. We said we were going down to the pond and he could come when he was ready. We were surprised/happy when we saw him walking across the field, naked, with his towel around his shoulders. His younger bro and sis teased him a little. Then all had a great time the rest of the day. Jason even wanted to return again! We are looking forward to visiting again this summer.

This place is a wonderful place to work. Everyone is very friendly and the members are great. Sure you have to deal with looking at naked people all day and you can't gawk but other than that it is a wonderful place to work. The management and co-workers are all like one big family and they welcome you with open arms if you ever need any thing.
