We had Wallside out. We felt that Hansons had a superior product to Wallside. We went with the triple pane.
I was most satisfied with the salesperson. He was awesome. He was funny and entertaining. I think he is the reason we chose them. His presentation showed us why they were better.

We considered Wallside and The Home Depot. We chose Hansons because of the price and the presentation. He showed us the steel in the frame of the window. It was a better product.
We couldn't be happier, the whole process has just been just great.

I had Gutter Guard at first and I though that they were super expensive and too cumbersome to pay their price. It seemed to over priced for the quality of work they offered. I chose Hansons after I was dissatisfied with GutterGuard. I had had Hansons here previously for insulation and I was familiar with how they worked, and the quality of work that they offered. The price was estimated at significantly lower then what I was estimated at for GutterGuard. I felt that Hansons was more upfront and straight forward and felt it to be the better route to go.
I was satisfied because the workers from 1-800-Hansons are all very friendly and care about their customers. The installers did a great job cleaning up and during the work, they checked on each other to ensure the work was being done. If you ever have a problem with anything, it is not hard to get in touch with someone from 1-800-Hansons for a resolution.

As far as the windows, the type of window and how they were explained to me, Wallside is just OK but Hansons has a better product. When they came out and showed me what I would be expecting from Wallside and what I would be expecting from Hansons the decision was easy.
I did have another contractor put in two other windows previously, and Hansons got to me for these other four windows. Hansons compared their windows to the competitors', and showed me how theirs were superior. The financing was the selling point, and they had a great price. I had four windows for almost the price of the two windows I purchased from their competitor.

My windows are beautiful. The crew was nice and were on top of the work. They only took 6 hours to install them. The crew did a great job. When I bought the windows I didn't get the special that was going on at that time but the windows are great though. I have told everyone that Hansons is great.

We live in Ypsilanti but i didn't see a listing for Ypsi. The people that put the windows in and the people that did the siding were very nice people, we were pleased with them, and with the quality of the vinyl in the windows.

Everyone was very pleasant. I would want to give a special acknowledgement to the crew. I was here all day with them and you could tell they had been working together for a while. They worked well as a team. They were very professional and nice and they were comfortable enough to joke around with each other. It was nice to see them getting along well and I was very impressed with them.

There might have been a couple of things that concerned us that ended up not being problems. I thought they did a good job, and in the end we found a couple of things that weren't done right and they fixed it right away. I thought the crew worked well together.

We had Wallside do work for us, and they did good job. We also called Magic, and they were joke -- we had to make them leave our home because they wouldn't leave unless we signed. Their prices are three times as much too. We thought we'd try 1-800-Hansons as we had various jobs for them and they offer a full range of services, which is good. Compared to Magic they were one hundred times easier to deal with and I tell everyone that.
We were very happy with the service that was provided, there is nothing that we would recommend changing. It was all wonderful!

I liked the choices of color with Hansons. They were able to match my existing wood windows. I also liked the price.

We've had a lot of bad experiences with contractors lately, especially with AT&T. My customer service has been horrific. With Hansons, I got an iPad for signing up, and I know they are guaranteed for 10-20 years. I have nothing negative to say about them. I would definitely recommend them.

I was completely satisfied from start to finish. There was no downside to any of it. I was not sure that I could finance but Hanson's did a great job finding someone.

The crew that installed were very friendly and professional. Dave the sales rep also was very professional and personable. Also I liked the fact that I received a lot of phone calls giving me the status of my order.

We're very satisfied with Hansons, and will absolutely call them when we need anything done in the future. We have gotten many comments from neighbors about what a beautiful job they did.

I was very impressed with the quality of the windows. They were exactly what I wanted, and more than I had hoped for. I thoroughly enjoyed the process, and I wish we had done it sooner. I was somewhat leery about having the windows put in because our house is sixty years old, and it was kind of nostalgic, but other than that, we didn't have any concerns.

A young man came around and suggested that we get a free estimate from Hansons. We thought we would call around two or three places, but we were so pleased with the salesman, and felt that Hansons was a reputable company, so we decided to go with them.

They adhered to the schedule for the most part. There was a month wait in getting the windows in. We had the roof and the windows done, and there was a month delay on the windows because they got booked up.
We didn't have any problems.

I was most satisfied with the quality of the workmanship and the way it looked when they were done. They also arrived when they said they were going to arrive. The roof and windows both were done in one day. I didn't have to take multiple times off of work or anything like that. They didn't mess around or play games, and I appreciated that.
They had some concerns regarding some windows that were in a three-season room, and it took them about four times out here to measure the window to make sure they didn't damage any structural things in the add-on room. They did a good job. I wasn't terribly concerned, because I knew they would take care of it.

They did a great job, and they did the work in a timely fashion. It looks like quality materials and workmanship.

The quality of materials was good, I would rate that high. Our roof looks really good. The crew that came out to do the job left our roof uncovered during a rain storm. The finished product deserves a four, however.
I wish there was a little better communication with the members that are doing the roof as far as the protocol of what to do to an exposed roof if it will start raining would be good. Instead of covering our roof, they just packed up and left.
The person who came out and talked to us about it and showed us the presentation was good. He answered our questions off of the top of his head and he was very professional. The finished product looks really good. We bought the three dimensional. It is a good looking roof and I would recommend them to others.

We didn't talk to anyone else. We needed to get the roof redone, but we didn't talk to anyone about it. One of the Hansons representatives came around and talked to us. Just wanted to tell about Hansons windows. The other evening, after the wind and rain pounded on our home, their windows held up to the test! The storm came tearing thru like a vegeance, ripping off some of our siding and knocking down some big trees in the area, but the windows held up just like they said. I thought for sure I would see water coming in and a puddle of water in the basement from the window above like we always did previously but guess what--not a drop!! Job well done!!!!

With the cleanup, you would never have known they were here working. They were great. Everything was done properly, and I am really satisfied with them.

The only concern I had was that I would get better installers this time, and I did.

My daughter has Hansons windows all over her house. She lives on the next block from me. They were beautiful, and she recommended Hansons to me. Years ago I called Wallside and I wasn't satisfied with how they were going to do it and everything. I had an awning, and they were going to ask me to take it apart. I didn't have to do that with Hansons.

The men that came out here from Hansons were very professional. They were always on time. They took very few breaks, even at lunchtime. They'd be gone fifteen minutes and they'd be back on the job. You couldn't have asked for a better crew

We recently had all of our windows, a door wall and a front storm door replaced. I want to tell you about my experience. Being a home owner for more than 40 years, we have had our share of home improvements done and by far, this is the best.From price, to product, from instilation to follow up, there was nothing lacking here. The crew was professional, quick and cleaned up completely. I compared their product to others and went with Hansons. Our decision was not made on price alone, I would have been willing to pay more for this product, but their price beat everyone's as a bonus. Again, hands down, a great job, great product and great company.

Our decision was not made on price alone, I would have been willing to pay more for this product, but their price beat everyone's as a bonus. Everyone I talked to at the company, including the people on the phone and the installers, were courteous and polite. All my contact with them has been good. If people like that worked at AT&T, they would make more money.

With me and the people on the phone and with the installers, there was no miscommunication. Messages were passed in a timely fashion. I will get six more windows from them soon.
If they could polish up the salespeople a little bit more so that they give a quick and precise sales pitch, they would be doing well.

I was most satisfied with the fact that the product that was ordered came in a little bit ahead of time and the delivery and installation went better than promised. When I do order the other six windows for this house, I will specifically ask for the same installer who did the front two windows. I don't want anyone else on the job but him.

The reasons I picked Hansons was the quality of their product and their guarantee. I did not call any other companies because I have already decided that I would use Hanson's for my windows. I have seen competitor's windows falling apart. I have seen a very bad Walside job where they took advantage of mentally handicapped people.

Our project with Hansons Windows was very well done and we're very happy with it. My concerns are I called my project manager on two different occasion and did not get return calls. Also my project was finished over three weeks ago and I still do not have a paid in full statement.

The sealant the window installer used inside the house was very stinky,he must have used an outdoor sealant inside. It took seven days to disapate, and it was in our bedroom. We were very satisfied with the siding, the gutters and gutter covers.

The installers were experienced and answered all my questions.
We knew the remodeling was going to be costly from other estimates. Our salesman showed us Hanson's products and how and by whom the work was going to be done. This helped relieved our anxiety about taking on costly job at this time.

We liked the salesman presentation, the cost and that there was a project manager to oversee the job.

I didn't have a lot of concerns. The first time working with 1-800 Hansons I got a couple of ideas for what windows I would need to use to keep the cool air in and heat out and vice versa.

I didn't consider anyone else because of my prior use of the company and how they treated me and they gave me the best offer. I do have a couple more windows, gutters and a bit of roofing to install. Hansons will get those jobs, too.

We had windows and siding installed by Hansons Windows and I got a phone call two weeks after I got the windows put in, saying that Hansons also does blinds, but we had just bought a bunch of blinds. My suggestion would be that Hansons mention that earlier in the process. I think that would attract a lot of impulse buyers, especially if you could put the blinds into the same financing plan - that would be huge.

I was definitely most satisfied with the siding, just because my siding was so bad before. The windows went in smoother, and they were probably the most professional crew, but I was just most happy with getting the siding done.

The selling point for me was when they said they would put the gutters in for me. That sold me.

I was definitely most satisfied with the siding, just because my siding was so bad before. The windows went in smoother, and they were probably the most professional crew, but I was just most happy with getting the siding done.

The selling point for me was when they said they would put the gutters in for me. That sold me.

I was most satisfied with their communication with us. They kept us up to date, and we liked them.

I admit I was skeptical since they were such a big company, and they came by door to door, but they agreed to everything and didn't keep anything in the dark from us. We were satisfied with the work they did.

One suggestion is that if the customer is getting a siding job done on a garage and they already have siding on the house and they want the two to match, let them know that the colors will match but the actual look of the siding may be slightly different.

Jim Jewell (Our sales Rep) was very professional and accommodating. He stated several times that Hansons is a company that prides itself on 100% customer satisfaction. He stated, and I quote,"I'm not saying that we're a perfect company that never makes mistakes, but if we do make a mistake we do whatever it takes to make it right", and he definitely made good on that promise.

Prior to this job I had some work done by one of Hansons' competitors. It was a horrible experience due to hidden fees and what I believe to be a dishonest sales rep. Mr Jim Jewell was extremely thorough in his explaining of the contract and asked my wife and me several times if we had any questions about anything.Overall i felt that I was dealing with an honest individual who didn't just care about making a quick buck, but who was more focused on establishing an ongoing client relationship.

I had a list of three other contractors to call. Hansons was the first call I made. After meeting with Mr. Jim Jewell I saw no need to look any further.My focus was not just to hire a company to do this siding job for me. I was looking for an honest and affordable company that i could begin to establish an ongoing relationship with to take care of all of my home improvement needs. Because of Mr. Jewell's professionalism I was confident that I had found that in Hansons.

Overall, this was the best experience I've ever had with a contractor, from start to finish. In January I noticed that one of the upstairs windows was foggy (due to seal failure). I emailed and called their customer service dept. They quickly scheduled a technician to come take measurements and then had the faulty glass panel replaced.

Please understand that the action of signing a contract last evening was highly unusual in that I (in all business transactions) get multiple quotes, and did have other appointments scheduled in the next few days, which will be cancelled. She was so impressed that soon as he left and provided us with your business card that I wanted to email you and tell you about our experience. He was early and he even offered to leave and come back at the appropriate schedule time, which was not an issue for me, She was actually glad that he was early. Dean was helpful in implementing a solution to her problem with the gutters. He was quite humerous but yet professional.

She was always polite, courteous and very helpful in getting our replacement windows scheduled and installed without issue. She kept in constant communications and even followed up with a call after the install was completed.

Secondly, I would also like to highly compliment the installation crew, lead by Mr. Chris Seggie. Chris gave us a courtesy call prior to arriving as scheduled and he and his crew were very polite and professional. I just want to take this time to say thank you to Hansons Windows for standing behind the work they did at my house in Pontiac, MI.

When the gutter guards installed by Hansons started to come loose I was worried that my $6,000 would go up in clogged gutter drains. My mother is a senior citizen and there is no one to do this type of work for her. So I called Hansons and had gutter guards installed. I am so glad I did. Rick Mann of Hansons Windows came out to give us an estimate on roofing and we found him to be very personable. Every question I asked him, he answered professionally without hesitation.

We ordered 3 replacement windows on 8-23-11 and needed them installed by 9-16 as we are having a party on 9-17 and wanted to showcase our new 3 lite slider window in our living room. We only wish that an ocean view also came with this beautiful window!

After the measurements were made, on 8-29 we contacted Director of
Operations Paula Lybeck who assured us that she would do everything possible to meet our desired installation date. On Monday, 8-30, processor Linda Eagley called to assure us that everyone was still working on getting our windows in quickly. On Wednesday, 8-31,
Supervisor of Processing Jackie Gilmer called to give us an update of
what was happening.

On Tuesday, 9-6 we contacted Paula Lybeck and she said it was possible that our windows would arrive at Hansons on 9-12. On Friday, 9-9, Paula called to give us the good news that our windows had arrived! We then set up the installation date of Wednesday, 9-14.

On Wednesday, 9-14, Joe Gladki arrived with our windows and installed them himself. He was very professional and he did a wonderful job installing the windows and cleaning up afterwards.

First let me compliment Hansons Windows on a very well-run organization. I've never experienced anything like this before with home contractors and I am very impressed.

Having been a homeowner for over 40 years, I've dealt with dozens of contractors and companies in regard to maintaining my home. I can honestly say this is the nicest, most stress-free experience I've ever had with getting repairs done. It began with the salesman who arrived on time and who gave us a clear explanation of the different options that were available for getting the siding on our house fixed. He answered all of our questions intelligently and we could tell he knew what he was talking about.

When we explained that although we have several repairs we need done on our home, we would have to break the work into several projects, he didn't try to pressure us to get it done all at once. He respected our position and gave us suggestions on how to do this. We really appreciated his courteous, professional demeanor. In fact, we had originally intended to make Hansons one of THREE estimates we had planned to get. But after their salesman came out, we were so impressed with him and the price he gave us, we looked no further.

We knew the price was very fair and felt that if he represented others who worked for the company, we would be in good hands.

When our job was supposed to begin, I was surprised to not only get a phone call from your company but also an email the night before. The leader of the group of men who worked on our house called us that day and explained that he thought it best to begin the project the next morning as the weather was looking like rain. I can't tell you what that one little phone call meant to me. I have had countless experience with contractors who promise to begin a project on a particular day and just never show up! Most of them didn't even have the courtesy to call. But Dean called and let me know the situation. The next day, he called me on his drive over and let me know he was on his way. Again, that was very considerate of him to call and assure me he'd be there.

When the crew showed up, they were very friendly and courteous and we walked around the house and they immediately got to work. They seemed to work very well together. I suppose I'm old-fashioned, but another thing I appreciated is that I never once heard them cursing or using foul language. And whenever I'd step outside to see how they were doing, they had lovely manners and that made me feel comfortable around them. Dean was exceptionally kind and courteous. I wasn't afraid to approach him with questions about the job. He would calmly explain things to me and kept saying that if I had any other questions, to be sure to ask. Again, I've had very bad experiences in the past where contractors acted offended or angry if I would simply ask a question and therefore, it made the whole experience unpleasant and stressful.

Another observation is that the crew that came out WORKED! I've had other crews at my house that sat around taking so many smoke breaks or just laughing and fooling around, the job would take DAYS longer than I felt it needed to. Not the Hansons crew! They immediately got to work and I don't think I ever saw one of them just standing there; they were always moving and getting things done. My job only took a day and a half!!! I'm still amazed.

Dean also asked if it was alright if they left some of their equipment in our yard overnight. He didn't just assume that or leave things in the way. He made sure he put things on the edges of our driveway so we could get our cars in and out of the garage easily. That was very considerate.

Dean also asked if it was alright if they left some of their equipment in our yard overnight. He didn't just assume that or leave things in the way. He made sure he put things on the edges of our driveway so we could get our cars in and out of the garage easily. That was very considerate.

I wanted to take the time to talk about a recent experience I had with Hansons Windows.

We had replacement windows installed last October and recently signed a contract to replace more windows. I can't tell you how wonderful Hansons Windows' team is. Last year's experience was great, but I have to say I thought it might be a fluke as no way could there be that many customer-oriented and cordial people working for one company! This year's experience went above and beyond.

Starting with Ann Martin, our salesperson, who was such a joy to work with. The gentleman who came to measure was so darn polite. But today was the best. Pete dropped by to make some minor repairs and what a personable guy. We spent some time chatting (not too long as I know he was on the clock) about our dogs and it was like having a friend over. Hansons must be so proud of their employees.

I worked for FedEx for 33 years and I know what it's like working in a service industry. I commend Hansons for instilling such a great work ethic in their staff. I would recommend Hansons Windows in a heartbeat and I look forward to the upcoming installation.

I was very pleased with my sales person, Leo Szlamkowicz. He was prompt, knowledgeable of the product , friendly and very personable to work with.

Not once did he pressure me into signing an agreement or even hint of me signing. I value that. I hate being pushed into a corner.

On August 12, 2011 my wife and I contracted with Hansons Windows to install a new roof on both my house and garage.

We were very inpressed with the installation crew that did the work.
They were there on time, were very polite and had a system of stripping and installing the new roofs that showed a lot of professional pride in what they do.

We had a chance to see two of your crews at work. Both my neighbor and myself had roofs installed by Hansons Windows. The first crew (my neighbor's) took 3 days to install. The crew that did my roof took 12 hrs.

If you have a training program on installation, the crew that installed our roof needs to be the one that teaches the others. They were that good.

I had windows installed last year by Gandy Windows, which is now out of business, so I lost my guarantee. This year I am in the market for a new roof, gutters and a new back door. Yesterday (Monday 8/1/11) I called One Stop Home Improvement THREE times and left three messages before anyone got back to me. By that time, it was too late.

My neighbor had Hansons windows installed and I noticed the high quality of work. So I walked across the street and asked my neighbor for a contact person at Hansons. He gave me the name of Justin Hickey.

(Woman in the Air Force) in the early 1950s that we jumped at the chance to help when Rebuilding Together asked us to pitch-in again this year,? said Elias. Hansons has a strong history of participating with charitable organizations like Rebuilding Together and the American Cancer Society.

In addition to new Hansons windows, RTOC will repair broken duct work in the basement and install a new furnace humidifier,? said Dan Cassidy, a Rebuilding Together House Commander. ??Those repairs and a new storm door certainly will help,? said Cassidy. The RTOC team will also address several safety issues by replacing the makeshift and missing hand rails on the staircases and changing out several original pull chain light fixtures with new energy efficient fixtures and bulbs. ??The basement windows all need work. I recently purchased a foreclosed home in Oak Park, Michigan and it needed tons of work. I shopped around and obtained quotes from a number of different companies. I finally decided to have Hansons Windows do my installation. My sales representative was very down to earth and patient. He was in the company of my six year old son and my 3 year old cousin (who's mother happens to be stationed in Kuwait) They were having a "power play-date" and my sales rep didn't skip a beat. He explained the process clearly to my husband and I and also gave us important tax tips regarding our energy efficient window tax rebates and the savings in heating bills. Our installers and project managers called early and to schedule the installation. My install was seamless and efficient. I have 3 more windows that will need to be replaced in the near future and I am certain that I will have Hansons provide the product and services. I actually enjoyed the experience and can't say enough good things about the two installers. Great guys. They deserve the work that they are contracted.
