Purchased a 2011 Edge and it has a quiet and comfortable cabin; abundant features; comfortable ride; composed handling, I am very happy with this vehicle. I had a very good experience at Suburban Ford, my sales person Tim O.was great, very knowledgeable about there vehicles and made the whole process super !!! I would recommend him to help you on your next Ford.
I just bought a new 2012 Explorer from Suburban Ford. Everything was world class about this dealer and this vehicle. The customer service was great and my 2012 Explorer is also the nicest vehicle I have ever purchased. I would highly recommend Suburban Ford and The Ford Motor Company for your next vehicle purchase!
For the last 15 years I've been driving Town & County/Grand Caravan minvans. Wanted a change, not that the kids are getting older. I still needed the cargo space for my son's drums and bass and amp, though, and had no desire to go to a small car. The Flex fit the bill but I didn't think I could get one in my price range. After working with the sales manager and then Andrew, salesperson, we managed to get a lease that fit my budget, and in fact was $50 less than any quote I'd received for the minvan this year. Got the car, and the payments are exactly what he quoted, no hidden entras or anything. I love the ride of this car, the feel of it. My ony complaint is a lack of room for the driver for all my "stuff". The minivan had 2 glove compartments and a cargo box between the seats, where my purse went. This has the gear shift in the middle and a very small storage box, my purse won't fit. So I had a bunch of stuff that was in the boxes in my old car that I can't fit anywhere in this one. Guess I just have to stop filing my car with junk.
My wife and I have been buying cars here for the last 6-12 years. These people pretty much bend over backwards for us whenever we come in. They are always friendly and very accomidating. They have always performed a very detailed run through of the features of the car that we are getting. This last experiance I had was no different. They had a special offer that was ending that day and they did everything they could to work with us. We were there until almost 9:30pm and not once did we get the fealing like we were a pain for being there so long. They even offered us snacks and drinks for while we waited for everything to get processed. Needless to say I will always recommend people to come here.
I must say...absolutely accomodating, friendly, kind, and helpful...the service during my transaction was excellent, especially since we had an unforseen surprise with my title during the trade in process of my used vehicle. I am highly recommending this dealership to everyone I know who buys Ford products..
We purchased a new Ford Explorer and our salesman was Andrew. In reviewing the car with us, he told us the car could take either E85 fuel or regular unleaded?! NOT TRUE! We also purchased the car with a cargo net and a cargo screen. Three months later, still do not have, even after Andrew emailed us and told us that these items were in and come in to the service dept. and ask for Mike, he will have them for you. Went for my first service appt. and told them I was going to pick up the cargo net and screen, they knew nothing about them! I owned a SUBARU for the last 10 years and EVERY time I left their service dept. my car was clean. You gave my Explorer back to me dirty, just like when I drove in to your service dept!!!! Doesn't your big, beautiful facility own a hose? Signed, A VERY DISGUSTED CUSTOMER
The Good: Very good first car buying experience. Lots of options to choose from, very friendly sales people. Will take the time to discuss different payment options to find the perfect car that fits your personal likes and budget.
The Bad: The entire process from beginning to driving off the lot took a very long time... I don't know if it's because they were busy that day or don't have enough people working, but plan to be there all day.
I have been buying cars and trucks from Joe Franzoni for 16 years. A person might think that my business could be taken for granted. Its a good thing Joe is not that person. I recently bought a new F150 Raptor. First of all, this is a great truck! Ford did an awesome job. What is the one thing that can ruin a great car or truck buying exoerience - poor customer service. Fortunately, I received great customer service once again. My time was not wasted and I was made to feel like the most important customer in the building. Everyone, and I mean everyone, from the receptionists, to the coffee shop attendant to the financial closing experts were very polite and helpful in making my time at Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights enjoyable. On to Joe, buying a truck like this is a big decision. He never hurried me or tried to tell me want I "need". I give him lots of credit for facilitating a sale instead of forcing a sale. Ford's trucks sell themselves. You guys are smart enough to know that and don't stoop to others' tactics. For this, I will return next time with the same high expectation of a wonderful buying experience.
After a long drive home from Philadelphia on Friday night, I dropped off my truck on Saturday 10am for an oil change, check coolant and engine light. One of the Ford service advisors told me my truck should be ready on Monday, but when I called at 11am today, my truck still wasn't ready, another 3 hours later, still not ready and then at 6pm, still not ready. Then I come to pick it up at 730 and I find out nothing was done, not even the oil change. This place doesn't deserve any stars. I don't recommend coming here for service.
Less than happy. My daughter and I went here to look at a car on a Saturday. The salesman was professional but his 'boss' (as he called him) was not. When we decided to buy, we wanted to transfer our plates from her old car. The 'boss' clearly appeared to be less than thrilled and told us that we were 'burning up daylight' when we said we'd have to go back for the plate and registration. We were also told that the car had gone thru a so-many point inspection and service that included an oil change and fluids check. I had already looked at the oil and it had not been recently changed and the coolant was at the 'ADD' mark. The car wasn't clean but this was the car that she had wanted so we bought it. When the deal was done, we got a 'yeah, yeah, it's Saturday and we're closing now so get lost' feeling when we said goodbye. The car turned out to be OK but we were less than happy with the experience. We will NOT be coming back here again.
I bought a used mini-van from here in January. I went in knowing what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend, which didn't allow for saleperson shinanigans. The sales guy worked with me and did a decent job. However, when the van had problems within the first two months, the repair shop was a pain in the butt. They claimed we were over miles, when we were about 1,000 under miles. Once we proved that, they claimed our 3mos warranty had expired. Once we proved it didn't, they said the part wasn't covered. Our experience dealing with the van repairs is reason enough for us not to buy a vehicle there again.
