The play structure is built to accommodate adults, so I've been climbing it and using the slides with my son for months (he just turned 1). The food is priced competitively, and There's a big screen TV and wifi if your kid doesn't need help climbing anymore.

The toddler area is a padded enclosure that is stocked with Little Tykes toys, rocking horses, etc. It could comfortably contain maybe 5-6 kids, so on weekends your kid may not get a turn. Also, it does not look like the staff maintains that area: the toys have not been replaced since I've been there. The stickers are faded on the plastic toys, the light-up toys have NEVER had batteries, the wooden puzzles are missing new pieces every visit, etc.

The staff is friendly, and the slides are fun. I just wish that they took more pride in the appearance of the place.

Business Response:

The New Zoo Play Cafe opened in December of 2011 where the Zoobilee Play Cafe used to be. We have the same play structure and location, but the reviews on Insider Pages are from before we opened, and we are not the same owners, managers or employers. Our focus is on CLEAN! We require everyone to use hand sanitizer upon entry, we close every Monday for Deep Cleaning, all our employees are ServSafe Certified, (and neat-freaks). We no longer have a big screen TV, since a few parents liked it but the vast majority were glad it was gone. We scrapped some worn out toys, books and magazines, sanitized the remaining toys, moved the little kids area out into the sunshine next to the big front windows, added books and a "Doll House" bookshelf complete with secret hideout, and made many smaller changes that will make your visit enjoyable. Never mind the past, give The New Zoo a try! Doug Conlin, new owner of The New Zoo Play Cafe.

I like Zoobilee much better than Jungle Java. I think the food quality and selection is better, the playscape is easier for the littler ones to navigate (not to mention, larger and easier for mom or dad to get through) and they offer coupons and specials from time to time (not sure if Zoobilee does b/c quite frankly, that place is so dark and crowded, I can't stand to go there)

The food was a little pricey but definatly cheaper than Jungle Java. It could have been because we were buying for 3. Also the website says that its a dollar off admission on mondays and we came on a monday and it wasnt. Nonetheless, we were very pleased with the expierence. We brought an 8 month old and a 7 year old and both were equally entertained. The seven year old told me "Its so cool, everytime one friend leaves, a new friend comes!" definately a good place to spend a few hours with your kids or to get some work done while they play

Zoobilee Play Cafe is kinda like Chuckee Cheese, but with out the Pizza. Their food is healthier but about the same price. While not near as big as CC, the kids will have fun here too, while Mom kicks back with a drink. It is easy to find, right in the strip mall and parking is great. So bring the kids out for a couple of hours on a rainy afternoon.
