My coworkers and others complained that Morty's has greasy food, so when I went to eat at Morty's for lunch, I purposely ordered food that I didn't expect to be greasy: the diet turkey platter. The turkey slices, cottage cheese, fresh fruit salad, and taboulehI tasted good, but a turkey sandwich would have been better. I also ordered stuffed cabbage as an appetizer. It tasted good but was expensive for the size. I was really bothered by the lack of service for the first several minutes that I was standing in front of the cashier. She didn't greet me, and although she was not that busy, she failed to take my order until a customer behind me complained about the lack of service. I would return to Morty's to try a few other items on their menu, but the service and prices are unimpressive.

Update: I returned a couple more times to try other items on the menu. The cashier was consistently slow. The Greek salad was just so-so, as I've had much better elsewhere. The potato salad tasted sour, not the way that I like mine to taste. The egg salad sandwich tasted good, and the turkey BLT was so huge that I couldn't finish it (perhaps an OK price for such a large amount of food?). The cold beet borscht had shredded cabbage and not much else, so it was mostly just broth. Summary: Just a couple of items tasted good and cost what they should, and the service left much to be desired. I probably won't return again.
