In the summer, sometimes you just want a backyard BBQ kind of night and Old Glory hits the spot. It's an incredibly casual restaurant downstairs with a DJ and rooftop deck upstairs. This is a fun place to enjoy in the spring, early summer, or fall, but the second floor gets suffocatingly hot in the heat of summer. Another downside is the cover charge on the weekends.

Pros: Rooftop Deck

Cons: Cover charges at night

Went here with friends while I was visiting DC. The BBQ was really good. The ribs were fantastic. It is located in Georgetown on M Street and very easy to find.

Old Glory is a FANTASTIC restaurant in Georgetown. The food is amazing, especially the BBQ ribs. The desserts are delicious as well. The bread basket, filled with cornbread, muffins and biscuits, is difficult to resist. All of the sides are amazing. The portions are huge, so go with an appetite!
