Dean & Deluca is great everywhere, and it's a gem in Georgetown. It's one of the few places that you can find such great items.

I love the produce section - including the berries that you can get year round. The bread is fantastic, of course, and the D&D brand fresh pasta and sauces are *amazing*.

And really, who can resist a section dedicated entirely to olives? They have 20 different kinds.

The prepared food is also great, and there is an outdoor space (enclosed and open in the winter) where you can have a meal of those items instead of bringing them home.

The drawback, of course, is the price. For such gourmet foods you end up paying a lot more than a typical grocery. The quality matches the price, though, so if you can afford to splurge for a dinner or two each week, pick up some items here.
