Definitely weird to be "reviewing" my therapist... but she's been great, and I hope this might help others to make a good decision. I found her online (her website is okay, www.MarshaLucasPhD.com), and now I've referred two friends to her. She's up-front, totally honest, easy to talk to, and has been *tremendously* helpful. I wasn't "sick," and she doesn't focus on what's wrong with you, but what you can clear out and do to have the life you want. Two complaints - her fees are high (IMHO; I do get insurance reimbursement, though); and if you drive, parking can be a little hard to find, unless you park in the paid garage across the street. But her office is exactly at the Dupont Circle Metro, so you can improve your life and save the planet at the same time.
