State Plaza Hotel

We stayed here last summer for several days and were satisfied with the room for the price- it was clean and comfortably furnished, albeit somewhat dated. The kitchen, though sparsely equipped, was a benefit that saved time and money. Parking was a big problem- the hotel garage is too small so we had to park at GWU several blocks away for about $36 a day- they have no in & out privileges so we basically lost the use of the van during most of our stay. I parked on the street one night and worried about the van all night long- discovered a small dent later. Wouldn't stay here again due to parking.

Being in the downtown, public parking is a problem near this hotel....Private parking is too expensive....The hotel room was excellent, had a kitchen and all....
