.

Far away enough from the 18th St. Madness we all love to hate, Napoleon Bistro offers a breath of fresh air when it comes to brunch options. They offer a fairly traditional French menu filled with croissants sandwiches, omelets, and sweet and savory crepes, all named after famous French people and landmarks. Personally, I love their veggie sandwich: "open-faced sandwic[h] with grilled eggplant, zucchini, caramelized onions, sun-dried [tomatoes], marinated goat cheese and olive tapenade served on foccacia." And who can resist a fresh cup of individually French-pressed coffee, imported from all over the world. Service is always friendly, and we've never had to wait more than ten minutes for a table.

I have yet to try their dinner out, but I've been told to expect the same kind of quality service by friends who have been. Also, on the weekends, the downstairs dance party is alive and well with live DJ's spinning top 40. No cover (usually).
