I am extremely disappointed in this car dealership. I tried to work with them in 2006 for my Scion and ended up going to Germain and getting a great deal and positive experience. We live right near Easton so it would be easy for us to get a car through there. The salesman was very nice and I liked him a lot - Michael was his name.

We came in on a weeknight and after going through all the rigamarole, we couldn't get approved for the car because the bank wasn't open and they had to submit it first thing in the morning. They were going to call me right away at 10am and let me know. I called them at 11:30am the next day and Drew said he was waiting for the bank and would let me know. They called back to give me the terms.
Originally, when asked what they could do to get us to drive home in a Camary that day, we said $0 down and $350/month payment. They said they could accomodate that - but when it came down to it they wanted $2,000 and a $365 payment. Anyway - I thought the whole experience was weird. The finance guys are all buddy buddy with each other and it makes you feel like you are interfering with their social life by asking questions. They also tried to tack on a $15 gap insurance monthly fee that I can get through our car insurance for much cheaper.

We went back again to finalize the deal after we negotiated what we thought and then they weren't going to give us the trade in value we asked for which was $500 more than they wanted to give us to trade it in. They refused to haggle on the car we were turning in - even to meet us half way so we left.

No one from the finance department ever came over to ask us if we had questions or try to remedy the situation. They left a 3 year lease deal on the table for $500 on our trade in. We ended up leaving and after we left they called me at least 8 times while I was at other dealerships driving other cars to tell me that they would give us the $500 for the car.

The entire deal was done in the middle of their showroom with everyone around to hear our conversations and finances.

Poor customer service. Period.

Our sales guy should have stayed at Germain. Go to Germain if you want to be treated right at a Toyota Dealership.

I wish we could give Toyota Direct ZERO stars!

Last January, we went to Toyota Direct to buy a car to get us through Ohio snow. We took home a car that the salesman said was front wheel drive: except that it wasn't.

The dealership wouldn??t undo the deal. We had to trade it in ?? plus $3000 ?? towards a comparable car that really was front wheel drive. And that had a bum transmission, as we found out within a week.

"Luckily," the transmission was covered by a warranty. We took it back to Toyota Direct for repair four consecutive times, and the problem got worse - and scarier - with each repair.

The car sat in the shop for 10 months while we tried to resolve the situation with the dealership. Finally, we paid for a new transmission ourselves (which solved the problem).

Needless to say, we won??t be back, and we thought it was important to share our story.

DO NOT GO HERE! Poor service, bad communication, and overpriced. They also had no ability to resolve the problem.

This dealership did give us some problems, but they resolved them. They care a lot about their customers, but they can cause a big problem.

My wife and I had the worst car buying experience ever with this company. We went there on a Sunday, and I spoke with a salesman, who was very nice by the way. I explained to him that we could pay cash for the 2007 FJ Cruiser that we wanted, but my wife had some issues with her credit in the past specifically in 2006. Her income was good now and she had been on her job for the past three years, so I wanted to see if she could get qualified for a car loan before we negoitated the price. She did the necessary paperwork then Jake the Finance Manager came out, and said that he could not give us a yes or no because the banks were not open on Sunday. I said that you mean to tell me that you are open on Sunday, and we are here today to buy the FJ Cruiser today, but you can't tell me whether you can qualify her or not because the banks are not open on Sunday. I find that hard to believe!!! He said that her credit score was 660. I said that he should be able to tell us something because he had her W-2 from last year, and she grossed $95K, which is around $7900 per month, and she is debt free. She wanted to borrow $25K, and she was willing to put down as much money down as necessary to get finance, which should put her payment between $500-600 per month, and that is no more than 10% of her income. and he still said that he would have to wait until Monday, when the banks are open. They have their own financing company, so he should have been able to give us a yea or nay within 20 minutes. I have never in my 46 years been to a car dealership to buy a car, and been told you will have to wait until tommorrow!!! Well, I waited until Monday, and no one called us to follow up with us. Now mind you this is a Toyota dealership, which should appreciate the fact that we would even consider buying a Toyota because of all the problems that they have had recently with their quality and bad publicity. I called Jim Cowan the General Manager on Tuesday, and he said that he still did not have a an answer. We had words and he threatened me. He is very unprofessional and dishonest, so I would recommend BUYER BEWARE!!! I do not think that they will be in business much longer!!!

I went to an oil change for my car of which they did and did their normal fluid check. A few days later, on a very cold night, my car wouldn't heat, the engine light came on, the temperature gauge went to the hottest, and to make matters worst, the engine was smoking. Unfortunately, one of the service guys forgotten to replace my radiator cap. On calling them back, they were hesitant to admit negligence and suggested the car had a major problem. After missing work, I had the car towed back to them (at my expense), they run their diagnostic and found the head gasket, and thermostat needed replaced. They wanted me to pay $181.00 for the service, but I very well knew the problem was due to the missing radiator cap. Nonetheless, after screaming at him and rising each others temperature, the manager hesitantly "admitted" liability and fixed it. Their negligence not only cost me unnecessary expense, but also cost me 2 days off a paycheck. They say, the word of mouth is the best marketing tool, so here I am spreading the gospel of bad service received at Toyota Direct.

I recently bought a new Corolla at TD. Mark, the salesman was willing to listen to what I needed in a car. He gave me a good deal on my Corolla and trade-in, which brought the price within my range. Toyota Direct offered me a better price on the Corolla than other dealerships I had visited that day- plus, unlike the other places, the color I wanted was in stock!
Even though our transaction lasted past business hours (I thought the place was open later than it was, and wound up there near to closing) the staff was friendly and courteous, and they stayed nearly two hours late to complete the financing and purchase, and "delivery".- I drove away with the Corolla that night.
I would absolutely recommend them. One tip is to know your target price (car-trade-in) so they can find a realistic match for you. My other tip is to look at their hours beforehand and arrive early so you don't keep them late like I did, as many of them have kids at home.

Five years ago, I was in need of a car. Driven the one that I had for 17 yrs. Nova 1987, Corolla engine, I must say she was faithful. I purchased a 2002 Saturn L200. I have had no problems with her and after I drive this one to the ground I will be back! I would recommend to my friends.

Overall, I was very unimpressed with this dealership. I had seen a car I wanted on their website and called the internet sales manager to make an appointment to come in and test drive it. When I arrived for my appointment, the sales person I spoke with was 20 mins late, which was annoying. Also when it came time to talk about price, the initial price that they came out with was higher than the one I had seen on the Internet and specifically asked about. When I pointed this out, they said "oh wait a minute" and came out again with a price that was lower than the original, but still higher than the one on the Internet. Overall, I didn't feel they were dealing in good faith.

My son had his car fixed there. When my husband went with him to pick up the car he questioned the high price that they charged and asked if all Toyota dealerships charge this high a price He was basically told that they can charge what they want- you agreed. When he asked for the old part back they balked at giving it back and said that they were not required to return the part to the customer. Basically they were extremely nasty, rude and insulting. NEVER take your car there. A TOTAL RIPOFF.They don't even treat you nicely when you go to purchase a car with cash.... tell you that they will sell the car for one price, take your driver's license and then refuse to sell for the price that you agreed to. Basically told us to "come back when you can smell the coffee". I would NEVER step into that place myself.I

I am extremely dissatisfied with there after sales treatment of customers specially for used cars, they will just try to sell the junk to you and then charge you heavily for fixing even small parts like door locks which they wont disclose while selling. Also they screwed my title by putting a wrong mileage ,nobody even bothered while I was signing the papers to recheck the mileage on the odometer once more and when i went back to get it fixed ,they kept me waiting and said it doesn't matter and behaved as if it was my mistake .I wont recommend to buy anything from here. That's the truth!!!

Where to start...
*the sales person was very nice and until it got to finances, everything was great
* we were charged the wrong price for the car during the financial portion
* we notified toyota direct of the mistake and we were not given the WRITTEN QUOTE for the car, instead they only gave us the emailed quote (which was $1000 more)*
* this was a lease, so they charged us more on the fee percentage when we came in to resign the paperwork, and after 1 hour of us asking and the finance manager changing subjects, finally admitted to knowingly lying to us....all the while have an ethical association on his desk!!!

Overall this was the worst experience of any kind of purchase. I have owned 5 new cars, 2 homes, and many other items and never before have so many people been so full of......
Lastly, they had the gaul to email and call me about purchasing a new vehicle for myself....the ONLY reason I gave them a 1 star is because 0 and minus stars aren't an option.

I regularly get my oil changed here. They treat you like royalty. From calling you by your first name to a beautiful waiting area complete with hot and cold beverages, it doesn't get any better. Service is also quick, no pressure for additional work and the going rate for oil changes.
