UPDATE!!!! 8-20-13 Same problem occurred today, that was supposed to be corrected 8 months ago. Sales manager told me that it was because I did have it maintenance.He would need to charge me another 75.00 to come out and try another leak test, but doubts my 10 yr warranty wont cover any parts because I never had them maintain it. He cant get ask the technician until tomorrows morning because they are already gone today after , the sales manager was to call me back four hours ago. PLEASE stay away from this company!! My Erie Insurance agent recommended them when my AC needed replaced and I have already informed him the latter.

Well I got with a a real company Bennett Heating and cooling. Installation was completed incorrectly as they left bolts lose throughout the install.

Service call, Leak test, labor,(Replacing Coil that Buckeye should have done from the first call ), oh yea under warranty for the part, which was told had expired) , plus 5 lbs Freon. You ready!!! 300.00 Total!!

Do not purchase anything from this company as they do not stand behind their warranty and service. The lady in Customer Service was very rude!!!! After talking to other RESPECTABLE company's, they could not believe that BHC would not back their work. They tried to take almost $500.00 just to come out and check a leak , in which the previous guy did three months ago. Then tried to state the warranty was only for 5 yrs, however after contacting GOODMAN the warranty is for 10. AGAIN, please go with anyone but BUCKEYE HEATING AND COOLING or you will regret every penny wasted.

Regardless of any reviews, good or bad Buckeye has a system in place that is 100% designed for the customers satisfaction and experience. But our business like theirs, still has human beings running the designed customer satisfaction system. Buckeye and Heating has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We bought a plan to have priority service. The one time we called to have our summer checkup someone took our name and number and never called us back to schedule. Shortly after our air conditioner went out and we called again we has to wait 4 days for someone to come out. Some priority. The house still is not cooled down. We called again in 90 plus degree weather and we were told we had to wait 6 days. The rep. on the phone was rude and hung up on my husband. She had a terrible attitude the whole conversation. The tech's are great customer service is terrible.

The issue I find with this web site is you cannot answer back so anyone can put anything they want on here. On 3 of the reviews, I can give absolutely truthful and reasonable explanations of what these circumstances were. Buckeye Heating prides itself on integrity and core values. We are not the cheapest but work very hard to give the customer the best possible value. I personally would not spend 22 years with a company that cheated customers. We service approximately 1500 to 2000 people a year and we have 4 ill postings. I feel that speaks for itself.Diana L. Platt, Quality Control Specialist

Even though we bought a 10-year warranty, they still expect us to pay them $130 a year for coming to our house and doing nothing! One person came in and said, "You need your blower cleaned, but if we did it, it would cost extra". That really irritated the crap out of me. That should be covered in the $130 a year or in the warranty we bought.

Today a person from Buckeye was supposed to come out between 9 and 12. At 12:10 I called and, yes, I was irritated and asked where the person was. They said, "Oops, we must have made a mistake. We had written in the afternoon" I don't believe it one bit. They knew I was angry about paying $130 for them doing nothing when they showed up, other than collecting more money. I told them to forget it and send my check back. I then called another company "Quality Air" who is going to actually clean my furnace for $79.95. At least, something is going to be done! I would never recommend Buckeye. They are too expensive to begin with!

Customer service experts? I think not! Overcharged for services I did not authorize/want. Do not honor their 100% guarantee. Complaining leads to rude/condecending attitudes. And to top it off, my house is still 81%!

I called them for a estimate on a new system. Spoke with the owner Brad. This company is way over priced. Trane equipment is good, but why does a different company quote $2,000 cheaper and did a great job. Buckeye is over priced.... Buyer beware. Also spoke with a friend later that used them. It took 4 trips to her house and $1,300 later they still did not fix her freon leak. A different contractor tightened up the service valve and charged her $79. No brain er. My op ion is Buckeye sucks !

We had a clanking rotor on the furnace and called in Buckeye H&C. They sent us David (#28). David immediately pulled out the filter and declared that it was the problem. My wife (I was absent) doubted that since a filter would not make such a sound and the noise was coming from another area on the furnace. David asked her which of them was the one that had been working on furnaces for 30 years. He gave up on the filter, but claimed that we would not want a real repair since it would require a new, expensive fan unit. He then collected his service fee and drove off. My daughter overheard their conversation and wondered why my wife put up with his rudeness.Apparently, he was incompetent as well. When I arrived, I was able to unbolt the fan, pull on the fan plate to clear a screw head, and rebolt the fan - 15 minutes of actual work with no prior experience.I called Buckeye and was told that a Diane was responsible to handle such issues, but she was in a meeting. I called two more times that day and twice the next, leaving a lengthy voicemail during one call. Diane has always been in a meeting and has not attempted to call me for two weeks. I want a refund of the service charge since David was both rude and incompetent/lazy.

i went here because of the close location to where i live. i needed something checked at my apt and the landlords woudnt do. i was put on some waitlist that took about a week! what if i was dying of heat or cold! but the good thing was that they fized teh problem as soon as they got there and tey said they woudl talk to my landlord aboutthe bill which was nice.

This heating and cooling company is wonderful. They have great customer service, and knowledgable workers. They do service replacement, new home construction, heat pumps, humidifiers, servicing and replacement parts. I highly recommend this company!!
