.

I applied at Spherion. They told me that I could get a job at Midwest Industries through them. I was seeking a temp job. 1. They did not want me to have an out of state address or disabilities. Fine, I accomodated their desires as I have family in Willard and my disability can be taken care of with extra effort myself. 2. Then, they had me go to an eight and a half long interview and training at Midwest which they nor Midwest paid for. 3. During the interview, they had me fill out a form which asked me extreme information on disabled veteran status, food stamps, etc. which required a signature and other questionable things. When I asked them about the form, which had Spherion on the bottom of it, they said it was a federal form and not until I called the home office did it even seem like it was optional. The form did not say optional. 4. In addition to all of this, after six hours of my time unpaid for, they then tell us *the entire group who was in training*, that they may not be able to get us a job for two or three weeks. However, the reason why I applied with Spherion in the first place is because they told me that it would take a few days to a WEEK to get a job *not three weeks*. Obviously, I needed a temp. job for a temp. span of time, specifically for two weeks. Therefore, they harmed me by taking up six hours of my life and misinforming me as to when they could get me a job. 5. Finally, last but not least, after all this and six hours later, they have us go for a urinalysis screen at their facility and then they charge $8 an hour for it. Of course they could not tell me this up front, they had to wait until they wasted 6 hours of my life. What a joke. My advice is to AVOID SPHERION.
