I love the kindness and compassion with which Doctor Joe treats his patients. His wife, however, whom is the Office Manager, is totally rude. You can be seen only if you can make an appointment for the same day, but first SHE has to deem you sick enough/convenient enough, good luck with that! If you are deemed privileged enough to be seen, you'd better kiss up to her and not complain about how awful she to anyone in the office or they WILL drop you as a patient. I could not believe how bad she really was until I Googled "Diane Liethold bad" out of anger/sadness! I have been a patient for years but things have been snowballing downhill, and from the message boards I've found, I am not imagining this. She is not being held accountable at all. The Medical Ethics Board will be surely be in touch with that office about her soon.

People can have one bad thing happen and it can ruin them. I personally have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Leithold and his wife and they have treated me like family.

I do remember when there was a shortage of flu shots and it was like that across the county and state...it was on the news saying so. Don't let this persons view sway your view to the negative. This practice is as good if not better than any in the area and it has a wonderful atmosphere. I would recommend them to anyone.

After months of Dr. Liethold and his staff misleading us about the inavailability of a certain vaccine, we finally discovered from the drug company, that the vaccine had always been available. When we asked the Office Manager about this, she became very defensive and snotty with us and said the doctor's office simply couldn't afford to carry it.

At our next visit we asked to speak with the doctor about this and other minor concerns. Before we could get two sentences out, Dr. Liethold told us we should find a new family physician. Every time we tried to say anything else, the doctor would simply interrupt us and repeat that we should find another doctor. Finally he just told us that he would refuse to see us any longer than the law required (30 Days) and walked out of the exam room.

The Office Manager that we caught in the deception never identified herself, but we discovered she is Dr. Liethold's wife. The doctor was obviously more concerned with defending his wife (or sparing himself the wrath of his wife), than he was in providing proper and timely care to our children.

I guess the Hippocratic Oath doesn't mention wives. I'm pretty sure it does mention patients however.
