I am SO tired of dropped calls. Doesn't matter what time of day or night. Doesn't matter what phone - we have 10 at work and they are ALL experiencing this.

I have nothing good to say about Cincinnati Bell Wireless. I totally agree with most of the other reviews on here. Customers are not important to this company. I am on my 2nd Blackberry with them and am constantly having problems with their service. Their network is extremely unreliable. You can count on some feature (3G, wi-fi, text messaging, etc) going down on their network every week. First of all, I get a ton of dropped calls during all hours of the day and night. I get "network busy" messages every weekday morning and afternoon. The 3G voice quality is poor-I constantly here echoing, crackling, and voice cut-outs when I make a call. There are many times I don't receive text or voice messages. The reception is poor, especially in Anderson Township, and between Felicity and New Richmond in Clermont County. Here's the kicker they don't tell you about-if you go out of the "home" CBW area, you can't send or receive text or picture messages from your handset and Verizon Wireless customers cannot send you any messages. Yet you pay $20 a month for this service. Plus, their billing is VERY shady with lots of extra charges, and their customer service is atrocious. You have to wait up to 45 minutes to talk to a live person in the Phillipines. What a joke. This company will not invest in upgrading its network either, and they lie about being the best "local" wireless network. CBW's motto should be "anything to save a buck." Avoid them! There is nothing good about this shady company.

***CAUTION*** Cincinnati Bell call center is located in the PHILLIPPINES.

I have never experienced a series of negative calls to reps like I did yesterday. The reason for my call was to get information on the Home Security System that Cincinnati Bell offers for my home. I called the phone number that is listed in the phone book to order the Home Security 513-565-SAFE (7233). The first two reps that I talked to was from Accounts Receivable and were foreign and they kept repeating the reason for my call and reading the call script ("I apologize for your wait"). Even though I have a balance of $75 that is due I notified them that I will be paying my bill on Friday 9/11/09. After we got that straight, they informed me that I would need to speak to someone in Residential Sales at 513-565-2210 and transferred me there. After being on hold for at least 25 minutes, I got tired and called 513-565-2210 to speak to someone in New Accounts. It automatically transferred me to Accounts Receivable again because I owe a balance. I then asked to speak to a Manager because I got another foreign rep that was going through the script. I had to tell that person to read the notes because I already told the last two reps that I would pay the bill on 9/11/09 and that I simply wanted to get info for Home Security. I was told that there wasn't a Manager available and transferred again to Residential Sales which I sat on hold another twenty minutes. I called 513-565-2210, input my phone number and again I get transferred to Accounts Receivable. It took (5) phone calls before the last person told me to go on the internet to look at the specific pricing information because no one could transfer me to the particular dept that handles Home Security. Why couldn't that person simply go on line to give me the information? Then at the end, he asked if he took care of all my needs. How pathedic! The only thing I can say is thank you and hung up. HELL NO... he didn't take care of my needs! This was UNACCEPTABLE. I have lost all CONFIDENCE with Cincinnati Bell's Customer Call Center. I had to pour me a drink because I was so stressed after all of those calls. Later when I placed my online order over the internet, a Cincinnati Bell rep called me within 30 seconds of pressing the "SEND" button. If I knew this, I would've went online in the first place. By the way, the "NEW" guy in Home Security said that yesterday was his first day. He was way more knowledgeable then the buffoons in Accounts Receivable that had no clue then how to properly handle a call and read notes from a screen. I also work in a customer contact center. I am a Full Account Manager and I try to be aware not to be hard on reps, but clearly those reps are not fully trained and I will try not to call Cin Bell anytime soon. I will go on the internet instead.

Where do I begin?? Literally, everyday there is some network feature or service that is not working or is down on Cincinnati Bell's Wireless Network. Their network is very unreliable. Just two weeks ago, text messages were not being received for several hours, and I couldn't get into my e-mail. Last week, I couldn't send MMS or picture messages, and didn't receive my voice mails. Yesterday, I couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi Network. Once these problems are fixed, they happen again within two weeks. It's crazy. On top of all this, customer service does nothing to help. They blame it all on your phone. The voice part of their service is bad too. I get a ton of dropped calls, bad voice quality where it drops out and echoes, and low reception, even in the city of Cincinnati.

You will be unbelievable disastisfied in the service from start to finish. The service is terrible, half the time I couldn't get a signal in Cincinnati. The customer service is non--existent. I haven't been a customer for 6 months and they are still ruining my credit - even though they did finally correct THEIR mistake, they are going to leave the collections notice on my credit report for 7 years. If you value anything at all in wireless service, customer service, or your credit rating, I would strongly recommend ANY other company for wireless service. You will regret using Cincinnati Bell.

I agree with the other review of Cincinnati Bell Wireless. Their service is very poor in the Cincinnati area. The reception in many parts of the city is very low. I have a new Blackberry WiFi phone and am always having problems with dropped calls, network busy messages, poor voice quality, not receiving text messages, and lost voice mails. It doesn't matter if I am connected to WiFi or if I'm on the GSM network. When you call customer service about the problems, you always have to wait 18 to 21 minutes for a live person. It's ridiculous. Then, they blame your phone for causing the problems. I think not! I do not recommend their service at all-you will be very unhappy if you go with them. I am switching over to Verizon.

I do not recommend Cincinnati Bell Wireless' service to anyone. I've been with them for four months and have had nothing but problems. I liked the idea of no contracts. I just bought my second new Motorola phone. I have numerous dropped calls day and night, poor reception and many dead zones (throughout Cincinnati), bad voice quality (like I'm in a tunnel echoing), busy network messages, and I rarely receive text messages people send me. Not only this, but I was out of town three weeks ago, and was charged roaming fees on my next bill when my plan said there wouldn't be any. I call their customer service line from my phone by dialing 611 and have to wait for 18 minutes before a customer rep comes on. When they come on, they told me that the problems were caused by my phone. Hmmmm.... two phones with the same problem? I think not. Plus, I've talked to many other people who are having the same problems with them. It's their poorly managed network, not the phone. They refuse to spend or invest any money in upgrading their GSM network. Plus, their regional coverage area is small and needs to be expanded. I would highly recommend Verizon Wireless. If Cincinnati Bell Wireless doesn't fix or upgrade their network, they won't be around much longer.
