Resource Interactive has published two very good books focusing on online marketing in the modern age. You can find them along with some good reviews of the books on Amazon. One of the books is a little older and the other is a good primer focusing on online marketing in the social channel. There is one critical point to keep in mind, it would be wise for the online marketer who may have read one or both of these books and was impressed with the content to separate the content of the books from the agency that published the books. At my former employer I saw a large amount of business for some nationally recognized retail brands be awarded to RI. Unfortunately it did not take long for us to realize our business was staffed with people from the agency who had little experience in online marketing, specifically the social channel. After a period of time all of the work was taken back. Apparently there must be quite a difference between researching and authoring a book about online social marketing and actually delivering these services to clients. With regards to the latter, something like Eugene Hameroff's book The Advertising Agency Business: The Complete Manual for Management & Operation may be beneficial for Ms. Mooney and her team.
