I didn't plan on buying a Hyundai, but after the test drive and seeing the features (compared to a Honda), it was clear that the Hyundai was the right car for me.

Hopefully your scale of 1 to 5 means '5' is the best. . . . My experience was excellent. I've purchased many cars, this was the most pleasant experiences of any car purchase I've ever made. Greg was very honest and knowledgeable. thank you!

I have been dealing with Rick Case Hyundai for 11 years now and have fond them to the best price for new cars. My family and I have purchased 7 new Hyundai cars from Chuck Ardary over the 11 years and find it to be like spending time with a good friend rather then dealing with a sales person he is extremely knowledgeable on the cars and I enjoy dealing with him. I also like your service dept. in Bedford and have used it several times when we have needed repairs done.

My family has actually dealt with several Rick Case dealerships over the past few years, and they've proven to us that even if something is less than perfect, if I you bring it to their attention they'll be the first to fix it and make it right. The other reason we stick with Rick Case Auto for whatever brand I or my family needs is the rewards programs... they really add up, and there are extended warranties on new purchases that only come through Rick Case dealerships. My sister in Atlanta went to Rick Case Hyundai and not only got the Hyundai Assurance Program, she also got a 20-year, 200,000 mile warranty plus 5 years of 24-hour roadside assistance... my uncle in Cleveland chose a new Honda CR-Z and got the same roadside assistance plus a 10-year warranty... that saved a lot of money. In the end, we always get more for our money and time.

This is an excellent dealership. Good place to go. HOWEVER, Rick Case is now a national automobile dealership chain, and with all chain businesses, some are good an other are horrible.

Right across the street from this excellent dealership is another Rick Case car place - Rick Case Hyundi and what a nightmare that dealership is!!! So, if you are looking at comparing Hondas to Hyundia, DO NOT USE Rick Case Hyundi. I had a terrible experience with Rick Case Hyundai doing just that.

I went shopping for a new car at the Hyundai dealership across the street, and had a very nice experience with the sales person. I had bought a car from them a few years ago and asked for the same sales person. But, he was no longer working there. I asked to talk to the service manager who I had met, he was also gone. While looking for a new car, I was 'steered', no pressured is a better word, into buying a car I didn't really want, because, "it is the time of year right now that cars go fast". and "I'm not sure I can get you this deal again tomorrow." As I talked more with the sales person, I learn that every one of the sales people is new there, and that they also have a new sales manager who started working there a few week before December 1, 2007. And he hired from an Audi dealership 'turn the business around' because they were not making enough profit. I proceeded ask for the best price I could get because I don't like the typical 'hard sell' approach. which I didn't get from the Rick Case Honda across the street. The sales person left, and came back telling me that the 'sales manager' said the new price [about $ 750 lower than the first price] was the 'best deal' they could do. I asked again if they could go lower, and the sale person kept saying that he was sure the new sales manager couldn't do better.and seemed reluctant to go talk to him again. I said I just wanted to be sure what their best deal was. When I made it clear that I wasn't going to buy the car at this 'new price', reluctantly the sales person whet back, 'very nervously' to the manager. knocked on the closed door and entered. A couple minutes later the sales person returned and said "no he said this is the best'. I then showed him the price I was offered from one of their competitors for the exact same Hyundia, same color, options, everything. The sales person seemed very happy upon seeing the other offer in writing and said that now the sales manager would probably match the other dealers price (which was $ 1500 less) or maybe even beat it. I reminded the sales person that I had asked for the best deal a few moments ago, and they were $ 1500 higher. The sales person told me that, since the new sales manager came on board, we don't give people the best price we can anymore, until they can show us someone else will due better. I was stunned. The sales person went back into the sales manager and guess what? They came back with a price about $ 250 lower than the other dealer had quoted me....

Who needs to deal with a dealership that won't shoot straight with their customers. I left immediately, went back to the other dealership! and bought the car from them, and for my trouble, the other dealership threw in a set of floor mats just for coming back to them. Let me tell you, it is worth your time to drive a few more miles to go to a fair Hyundai dealership, than deal with Rick Case Hyundai. I tell everyone now, STAY AWAY FROM RICK CASE HYUNDAI. You should too.

I currently own a 98 Honda Civic and have had zero problems with it other then normal wear and tear. I decided that due to Im going to have a child that it might be time for a new car so I went directly to the closest Honda Dealership, Rick Case. The sales guy David and most of the other employees were adequate at their job, besides the loan officer. I put a deposit on a fit and went thru the normal hoops. I was quoted 7-9% which I was conent with. I had a oppointment at 6:20, being in customer service I got there early. I waited approx. 30 mins past the 6:20 and he was still in a appointment with a "special" customer. He not once came out and introduced himself or appologized for the length of his current missed appointment. After roughly 40 mins (when he was finished with his "special appointment", he came out said that he would be right with me and it would only be a 5 min meeting and proceeded to walk outside and talk on his cell phone. I waited another 15 mins, having other things to do I informed the salesman that I had another appointment and left. Upon leaving the parking lot I saw the loan officer getting off his cell phone and proceed to talk to one of the sales guy. I'm glad my deposit was not a significant amount due to I would not deal with a company that employeed a horrible customer service individual as that. I am currently purchasing a Mazda.

I have never written a review of anything before but I was so disappointed with our experience at Rick Case Honda that I have to vent it somewhere.
In 2002, I bought a new Santa Fe from Rick Case Hyundai, it was a pleasant experience. So when I decided to buy a Honda Civic, I naturally went to Rick Case Honda, figuring it to be the same experience. I was very wrong.
I got an online quote, then we went in for the test drive. After the test drive we sat down and talked to the salesman. The first thing he does to us was change the price saying he made a mistake and it's actually $800 more. Okay, no big deal, people make mistakes. Then we ask about financing (our credit is very good, the last car we bought was 0% interest), so we sign some papers so that they could do a credit check. He tells us that the credit check will take some time and that we should go home and he will call us with the interest rate. The usual stuff. Then here's the part where I felt betrayed by the salesman.
We were looking for a black car and he says that they don't have one on the lot because everyone wants the black one but they should be receiving some soon. But if we leave a deposit, he can hold the car for us. Again, no big deal, that's how we bought our house (we put a deposit down so they could hold the lot for us for a few weeks while we made up our mind). He gives me something to sign and says this is proof of the deposit, I jokingly ask that we're not buying the car yet, are we?, and he replies "Oh no, no, no". My wife then sternly asks "We are not buying car, right? Because we don't even know the interest rate yet?". He also replies with the "Oh no, no, no". So we left the car dealership and went about our business. All day have gone by and we did not receive a call, so we call him. He tells us the interest rate and it was way high. So we tell him that we are not interested.
Five days later, he calls us and tells us that our car is ready for pickup. We tell him that we didn't want the car because the interest was too high and we told him that on the phone. He tells us that doesn't matter because we signed a "Car-Buyer Agreement" and we are obligated to buy the car or they will keep our deposit. So, I call the manager and explain our situation. He tells me the same thing that we have to buy the car or they will keep our deposit and tells me and I quote, "Nobody put a gun to your head and made you sign this, did they, BUD!!!".
We tried to call our bank and cancel the check but apparently they have already cashed it. After feeling defeated and betrayed and being stressed out all day, I gave in and went to the dealership and picked up the car. Never again will I buy at Rick Case. And never again will I trust a salesman.

We took our car in for a warrenty repair and it appeared that we got the mechanic with an attitude. Although the woman at the service counter was nice it is like the old saying...if one bad apple is in the bunch it makes all look bad.
