gotham no longer owns g&co but he still works there. the new owner's name is cindy. also, ryan no longer works there. she hired a few new people who all seem to be very nice. i go in there alot. i LOVE the laguna beach jeans that they have!! just from talking to cindy when im in there i get the feeling she is trying to mak a whole new name for g&co (w/out changing the name!) her efforts are showing. i was in there last gallery hop and it was CRAZY. the dj was insane (i don't knw who he was) people were in the back dancing, everyone had a drink in their hand. ive never been in there during a gallery hop so that was fun to see. i just was looking up short north businesses and stumbled across the other persons's review of G&Co and had to put a comment on here that it is a new owner now. Also, the change in staff alone has made a HUGE difference in the vibe in there. ive seen 2 different new girls in there and they could not have been nicer. parking STINKS though!!! but i guess it does everywhere in short north, huh.

i went in there last saturday for the first time and was stunned. i usually go to miami or ny to shop and didn't even know we had anything like this in columbus. they were having an awesome sale with some things up to 50% off. they sd they were clearing things out because they have a bunch of new items coming in march. right when i walked in i was offered a drink which i gladly accepted! (i am not a drinker but they were offering wine, beer, water or pop to everyone who walked in) That's what they do when you are buying several items from saks fifth avenue or something like that or maybe if you ask in another store but i've never been in a store where they offer you something to drink rt whn you walk in. the owner seemed very nice. she gave me her business card with a stamp for 20% off for the next time i go in. she sd that the store has been there for a few years bt they just renovated and got new lines of clothes a couple of months ago. the store is very open and has a miami/philly type feel. the owner cindy told me she just bought into the store a couple of months ago so i don't even know if that other guy the last person was talking abt is still there?? i told several of my friends abt the store and always fill out the reviews but this one i am really excited abt because we really dont have anything else like this in columbus. good luck to g&co couture i am sure they will be a success!

The other reviewer clearly has an ax to grind. I'm sorry if what he says is true, but it has nothing to do with whether or not this is a great store. And from my perspective, this place is great

I'm a 40-something businessman and in general the clothes here are too flashy for me. But I bought a pair of jeans for $80 that everyone in New York (where I live) thinks I paid $200 for. They fit great and are very stylish, without being obnoxious. My experience in the store was also very good. Ryan gave me prompt, friendly service and was honest about what he thought would and wouldn't look good on me.

I highly recommend G & Co for anyone who wants high-style or high-urban casual clothes. Great store in a great part of town.

I used for work for him.

He stole my designs that I did for some of his clothing. He terminated the contract and lied about my gross annual income on my W2s.
He still owes me for 2 bounced paychecks which I may or may not ever see.
He dodges my phone calls and cussed me out when I came into to talk to him about him paying me.

He sells people stolen products.
He is blacklisted in China for not paying manufacturers, he owes the city of Columbus thousands of dollars in back taxes, and moves his money around so that he can't be followed.

He talks badly about his customers and treats his employees with little respect.
He is also a pervert and a manipulator.
