Riegel's Roofing

Consumers BEWARE!! Mike Riegel of Riegels Roofing is a "storm chaser"...Over 3 months ago, I hired Riegels Roofing because of their coupon. Ohh do I wish I would have trusted my instict about this one. None of the crew spoke any English, and that was only the beginning of the problem; I have been trying to get Mike Riegel back out to my house in Dublin to fix the shotty job that his crew did. I call and call and I get no return call from owner Mike, only someone answering saying that Mike Riegel in Georgia. Some coupons are just not worth this headache!!

I think that riegels roofing was the best because i had holes and a torn up roof and mike riegel fixed it all in just 1 day and he has the lowest price ever he is a really GOOD GUY I THOUGHT THAT IT IS THE BEST ROOF IN THE WORLD

Last fall, we sustained roof damage. Our insurance told us to go ahead and use whomever we wanted. Several of our neighbors had used Riegel Roofing and seemed satisfied. We called and Mike and he came to our home to drop off a brochure for us to pick the roof that we wanted. It was an Owens Corning brochure and from that I made my choice. The crew spent 2 days at our house for what was only a 1 day job. Much of their time was spent relaxing in my side yard. Remnants of shingles, paper and nails were left all over the roof and in my yard and landscaping. They also left a large stack of shingles "just in case" in my driveway. I called and asked them to remove them but no one ever showed up and I had to do it myself. Several months later, we had another windstorm which took half of my roof off. Several of my neighbors who used Reigel also lost shingles, but none to the degree of mine. And it wasn't because "the tar didn't have time to melt" because another neighbor had his roof replaced by a different company in the dead of winter and lost nothing. Needless to say, I called another contractor to do my repairs. When they took my shingles to match up with Owens Corning, they were told that they had never seen them before. Long story short, I contacted Mike, who was very nervous and "offered" to give my contractors the shingles for free, which he just happened to have in his warehouse. Turns out that the shingles are seconds and not Owens Corning at all. Also, the Reigel workers stapled the shingles two inches above the white line so there was no reinforcement. My insurance paid for top quality shingles and I received sub-standard materials. My guarantee from Reigels is a 30 year. I predict that the rest of my roof blows off in the next storm and Reigel won't be around in 30 years.
