I went to Roma's for lunch. The menu was plentiful but not large to make a decision hard. The server was prompt and polite but not overly friendly. A had a house salad to start which was pretty small but seemed fresh enough. The bread that was brought out was really, really good. I got the Penne with brocolli and sun-dried tomatoes. Very tasty but like the salad a bit small however I did not leave hungry. The food was good and would recommend the restraunt just based upon that but the real high-light for me was the great atmosphere. It sits in an older building that does not appear to have too many upgrades but the decor with quirks of the old brick building made it a very quaint!!! Savor the atmoshpere!!! I will be back!
Pros: Atmosphere, food, service
Cons: portions (lunch), noisy
I am a big fan of Trattoria Roma Ristorante. For someone who has lived in Italy for four years, I was surprised to find such great food in Cincinnati. The menu lacks the mussels and shrimp that is typical in Italy but the dishes are still wonderful!
The food at Roma's reminds me of my little Italian grandmother's cooking!
