My daughter started in February of 2007 at the age of 2 1/2. At the time, I chose the school mostly based on the convenience of the location and the affordable price. However, we got so much more than we bargained for! The teachers were kind and thoughtful, as well as attentive to her needs. Best of all, I could see that she soon had a developmental "growth spurt" after starting at Palmer. She was learning her letter sounds and practicing handwriting. She started at a full-time Montessori school this past year at the age of 4 and I feel that she was very prepared for a school setting. She understood how to behave in circle time and how to form a line to follow a teacher. So glad she started her education at Palmer and we hope to send her little sister there next year!

My two year old daughter started attending Palmer Preschool in the fall of 2008. Like many parents, my husband and I were very apprehensive about sending her to school. We were not sure if she was going to like it. However, she has loved it from the very first day. Palmer provides a great educational environment that is safe and clean. The curriculum also includes music classes and chapel. We are very pleased that we chose Palmer.

This is a small preschool in the heart of the medical/museum district that offers developmentally appropriate play while encouraging "school skills" throughout the day.
