I suspected I had a UTI so I went to my ob/gyn and they told me I would have to wait 3 days to get the results of my urine sample. I couldn't take it anymore so I went to Doctors 365, the service was great and they were able to test and treat me on the spot!

I was so frustrated that I walked out on my appointment and they still insisted on charging me. I had a very bad case of shingles and was in severe pain. The physicians assistant (Only one there-no MD available) wanted to treat me with steroids which are contraindicated in shingles because they can suppress the immune system and make the shingles WORSE. He also wanted to treat me with an anti-anxiety medication. He did not ask me about this, I HATE these medications and I wasn't having anxiety! I was in pain! I had lesions in my eye and in my mouth. I needed something for pain. I also asked for a diuretic because I had severe edema. He insisted that the edema was not due to fluids but just swelling from the shingles. I tried to tell him that I had developed a wet cough with the edema and I was sure it was due to fluid. The guy was steroid happy and wouldn't listen to me. I finally left and planned on going to the ER and ask to be admitted to the hospital for pain control-Yes, it was THAT bad. My resting pulse was 130 due to severe pain. I went home and took some over the counter water pills. I finally urinated excessively and the swelling began to go down. I made it through the night and went to see another doctor. They treated my pain and I was once again able to eat and drink. They gave me some eye drops for the lesions in my eye.
What really upset me was that this urgent care clinic insisted on charging me even though I walked out. I wasn't about to let this 'assistant' treat me with steroids that I KNEW could hurt me. Or powerful anti-anxiety drugs when my problem was not anxiety it was pain! Can you imagine how much it hurts to have a chicken pox lesion in your eye? All down your mouth and in your throat?
As I was leaving the receptionist told me "He's just a physicians assistant, not a doctor, he can't write prescriptions for pain medication."
Well then, when a patient presents with their primary complaint being 'pain' perhaps they should inform you BEFORE they take your money that they can't give you anything stronger than what you could buy over the counter yourself. How can you run an urgent care facility without a real MD on call? I was told that there was not an MD on call when I requested that they consult their physician back up so that I could be treated.
Now, I realize that plenty of people are trying to scam powerful pain medication out of doctors and they have a legitimate reason to be suspicious however, I brought in my discharge papers from the emergency room I had been to the week before. It was obvious that I had shingles-this is not something you can 'fake' and MANY people actually DO require being admitted to the hospital due to shingles in the eye as it is very painful and dangerous. It's the #1 reason that patients with shingles have to be admitted to the hospital. IN my opinion it was dangerous for them to NOT treat my pain when my pulse was so high. So there is another side-on one side you have patients trying to scam powerful pain meds out of doctors and on the OTHER side you have doctors dangerously under medicating patients with REAL pain and REAL need for these medications.
If you want competent and compassionate care I suggest you visit another office. I found neither here.

Went to See Dr Houston and was able to get in and out very quickly with friendly service. He fixed me up.

I hate waiting in a Dr office to be seen so this was perfect and on top of that they took my health insurance. The facility beautiful and clean; couldn't ask for more.

I am currently without health insurance. I have concerns about loosing my current job. I was fortunate to stumble across Doctors 365 Urgent Care. They have this great VIP program which only cost me $600.00 and I get to use the clinic as often as I need to. This place is very affordable for someone without health insurance. Great idea! The staff and the service are great too!

I am currently between jobs (uninsured) and was not feeling well. A friend told me about this new medical facility that just opened so I went. From the moment I walked in I liked the way I was being treated. Courteous staff, nice environment and everybody seemed to genuinely care about how I was feeling. The best part is when I met with Dr. Houston - he was caring and talked to me in a way that showed he was clearly interested in finding out why I felt so bad. I plan to use Doctor's NOW Urgent Care again and will definitely tell my family and friends about Dr. Houston!

Doctors NOW Urgent Care was a wonderful experience, I had great care and everyone was excellent! I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Doctor Houston whose bedside manner was the best I had ever encountered. This new facility is great for our community and I will definitely recommend this urgent care to my family and friends.
