H Mart

Until recently I was able to shop at H Mart without getting too sick from laundry products if I carefully navigated around the laundry aisle. However, the last visit to H Mart made me so ill that I had to leave the store immediately. Unbeknownst to me, this aisle had been fortified with so much more of these toxic chemicals. It's too bad that I can't shop there any more. H Mart has forgotten that this is an Asian Grocery Store, not a Safeway store!

The largest selection of Asian foods, from produce to seafood to canned goods. All Asian countries represented. Also, several great fastfood ethnic restaurants. Eat in or take out.

H-mart is a must see for anyone in the South King county area. I buy lots of produce and 20 lb. bags of brown rice here. They have a large produce section including things you can't get anywhere else in the area. (Durian, anyone?) they have a huge seafood selection and more kinds of kimchi than I knew existed. If addition to groceries, they also have cooking utensils, a restaurant and much more. The biggest downfall to this store is the fact that a lot of the signage is only written in Korean.

H Mart is a new Asian grocery store in Federal Way. It has a variety of American and Asian food and non-food items. H Mart has a large produce department and an incredible variety of fish. They offer fresh, frozen, dried and live seafood, some of which I've never heard of before. The prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this store.

Great prices and selection in this large Asian grocery store. Lots of fresh produce of all sorts. But the very best is the seafood. Fresh, frozen, dried and live! Over 30 kinds of fresh fish and other seafood like shrimp, mussels, scallops, abalone, crab, squid, octopus, etc. A diverse clientele loves this store!
