I like to give the Salvation Army business. This thrift store is not as well organized or clean as expected, but they are working on it. They take donations any time of the day which is refreshing.

This used to be my favorite thrift store. I would go there almost every day, and always found wonderful items in a clean, friendly, organized atmosphere.

Not anymore.

This store is now a dirty, disorganized mess.

The merchandise is dirty, damaged, broken...I think they are using this store as an outlet, sending leftover items from other stores to this one. How else could you explain the fact that almost all the clothing is stained, torn, ragged...just awful.

Also, the store USED to be so neatly organized, with items categorized and attractively arranged. NOW everything is just thrown on shelves willy nilly, and good luck finding what you want.

The floors are dirty, the whole store looks like a dump. It even stinks! So sad!!!

Plus - they raised their prices! Huh? I can buy the same things NEW at Walmart for cheaper, in many instances!

Even the employees look unhappy - I had gotten to be friends with many over the years of happily shopping here - now many are looking for other jobs.

Every time I've gone here recently, employees are standing around in little groups complaining and looking unhappy. Not very encouraging to customers!

Also, their new policy is to never mark items down! This store used to have certain colors of tags on sale, which kept the store from getting stagnant and boring - merchandise moved through quickly. NOW, you see the same old tired junk month after month. SO BORING. No incentive to visit often. (They do have weekday sales on certain categories of items - worn-out shoes, clothes, and linens - but if you like dishes, electronics, or knick knack- type things, forget getting a deal!)

What happened to this once-wonderful store?????

Don't even bother going there. It is not worth the time, sorry to say.
