Be careful! This place is all about making money, no real care or love for animals!
After almost a year of daycare at Camp Bow Wow LIC I decided to take a long vacation and leave my dog boarding with them. When I returned my dog had a serious allergy on his belly, his skin was inflamated and nearlly bleeding, no one at the camp seemed to have noticed or cared to address the case. I took it to the vet and the vet said my dog had an allergy to the product they use to clean their place. After 5 weeks treating with antibiotics the dog has recovered. I went back to leave the dog for daycare, I explained what happened and they said they use strong hospital chemicals on their floor and that they would write a note on my file to no longer use it on my dog's cabin next time. So I left the dog there for day care and 2 hrs later I get a call from my vet that my dog was attacked by another dog inside the Campbowwow LIC , and was taken there with open injuries on 2 legs and that it needed to have anesthesia and several stitches.... I called the camp and they said they were NOT liable for this, that my dog was NOT A VICTIM since he was the one who started humping the other dog!!! What???? The owner Steve Neagus wouldn't even listen to me over the phone... trying to interrupt while I tried to tell him about my previous experiences on that place... If you love your dog DO NOT TAKE IT TO CAMP BOW WOW LIC! My dog is now under care on a local VET. The owner of the other dog offered to pay what made me wonder... They do take aggressive dogs on camp and risk the life of our dogs...The INTERVIEW process is nothing but BS. Any dog will be allowed in regardless of them being aggressive or not, as long as you can pay their rates. My dog doesn't know how to bite, so the dog who attacked him is probably still playing in their camp putting all of your dogs in risk of being attacked. Say NO to camp bow wow!

My sister and I were looking for a daycare for our 3 pugs and found Camp Bow Wow online. And we're lucky we did. Meeting them the first time, not only were they great with us (nervous pet owners) but they were fantastic with our pugs.

We boarded our cocker spaniel buck a few different places but once we found Camp Bow Wow we found the best place in NYC.

The staff knows our dog and his personality. He's a shy, older dog, so we know he will get the extra care he needs.

This is by far one of the best facilities to board your dog in the area. Dogs are allowed to play all day and the facilities are maintained really well. They are really dedicated to keeping the place clean and your dog safe. The best part is that you can keep an eye on what your dog is doing at all times through an iPhone App! My dog can't wait to jump out of our car and say hello to her friends!

Yes, Camp Bow Wow is a world class day care for dogs. My dog, Chip, nearly breaks off his leash when he's at the Camp Bow Wow door. He is that anxious to get in! He plays all day with is doggie friends, gets rid of his energy, socializes and comes home a very quiet and contented boy. And so do I!

The staff is caring and interacts with the dogs. They truly love dogs. That's a prerequisite for working there. Steve, the owner, is always there to help and happens to be a great guy. The facility is beautiful with large play areas and doggie cams that I can access from my computer. They added benefit is that they have a great boarding facility and I can have Chip stay when I travel. It's like leaving Chip with family. I always have peace-of-mind when he is at Camp Bow Wow. We are lucky to have such a great doggie day care and boarding facility in our area. We love Camp Bow Wow!

We absolutely love Camp Bow Wow! Stephen and his amazing staff make my 3 year old Rotti feel like he's one of the family. My pup has been going to the day camp and boarding facility for the past two plus years and I couldn??t imagine our lives without the camp??s services. It??s especially important for rottweilers to have consistent socialization and the camp provides this important activity for my loving dog. Also, due to the fact that I??m such an overprotective doggie mom, I like the fact that I can login to their camper cams during the day to check on my pooch. And as soon as we turn the corner of the street heading toward the facility, my boy gets so excited in the car that I have to hurry to park to let him out before he explodes with excitement. It gives me such a feeling of comfort to be constantly told by the staff how much they love my dog and to know that he??s safe and well taken care of while in their possession. Camp Bow Wow is the best in my book and I would recommend them to anyone.

Thank you for your concern. Please know that we attach the lead or collar to the seat belt system if we have a dog that must ride in the front on the van. There are several dogs that are terrified of getting in the back of the van and their owners have asked us to transport them in the front.

Camp Bow Wow van seen on 2 occasions collecting a dog from a building on 43rd Avenue, between 42 & 43st, 11104, & placing the dog, unrestrained in the passenger seat. If there were to be an accident, the dog would go straight through the windscreen & someone would lose a beloved pet. I am sure that the day care is wonderful but that would be no use to a dead dog. This practise is unsafe & irresponsible.
