second time there, loved it both times. Loved the mango huge margarita. Food plenty, authentic, good price, wait staff excellent, ambiance fantastic. We went when weather good, in the upper 70's in March,so patio full but no waiting only 5:30 pm. The best part for me was the band that played at 6pm. A variety of dancers of various levels just had a blast with the fun not too loud music. My favorite was the 6 yr old girls dancing with the grandmothers and nobody caring what others thought just great wonderful vibes. I will be back to dance and have a drink before the street fair on Thursday. Makes me want to move to Palm springs!

This restaurant is right on the main road where, all the people walk by and you can see from your table, artist playing an instrument or singing and so on. The food is great, and they make the best Vergin Pina Colada I have ever had. Definetly a must, always busy so reserve an outside patio table ahead of time, if they take reservations.

This place is always packed. The food is not your typical Mexican cuisine. It's more Authentic. Been around forever and a special touristy place when going to Palm Springs. You have to go there.

When some family members came from the east coast and wanted authentic Mexican food we brought them here for the best Mexican in Palm Springs. I didn't care for the table they seated us at and they changed us immediately, even though the restaurant was very busy.

We had 2 servers and even though the place was bustling our glasses were always kept full and we received excellent service.

The food was fantastic, from the homemade salsas and pico de gallo to the entrees to the desserts and Mexican hot chocolates. The fish dishes were done to perfection, still flaky but completely cooked through. The enchiladas, tacos, and burritos were the best.

It was a fun and entertaining experience, one I hope to repeat very soon.

Las Casuelas Terraza offers affordable Mexican food in a bright, upbeat restaurant complete with live music every night. The portions are large and delicious, and they have a diverse menu for both adults and children. The only drawback to dining there with family: happy hour, which draws a more, shall we say, colorful, crowd, and distracts the waitstaff from giving top notch service.

PROS: Great food, ambiance
CONS: Poor attention from the waitstaff, noisy
