.

Bottom line: DO NOT GO. To this Aspen Dental or any other one! Rude staff that did not sit at the front for patients to be taken care of, they took 18 X-RAYS and then proceeded to tell me I have ELEVEN CAVITIES when I floss everyday and use mouthwash, and I went to my old dentist just 6 months ago. When I pointed this out the dentist went on to point to little spots on my x-rays and essentially implied my old dentist didn't know how to do his job when I have been going to him over 10 years. Read tons of other reviews online and I am glad I am escaping early on! They are out for your money.

Went here to have a tooth pulled. The initial visit was odd - not at all friendly, very quick, did not get to speak with the dentist at all (she was in and out in a VERY quick manner), but seamed reasonable.

They took the time to quote me $140 for the procedure (along with $2700 in additional work that after a second opinion, I find out that I did not need), and explained to me that my insurance was maintenance only, and would not cover this. No surprises there - and they also informed me that since it was self-pay, they would honor the $140 as that is what they normally get from the insurance providers.

So - I have the tooth pulled with no complications... to them. The suture was misplaced, let go of one side and now 6 weeks later, I still have a hole in the side of my gums... but they pushed me out of the chair when I mentioned that to them - "no, that's normal and will close up in a couple weeks".

Then, a month later I get an additional bill for $60 because my insurance denied payment. I call them up, explain that it's a mistake based on the discussions that I had when quoted, and the woman on the phone said that she saw that, would correct it and send me a zero balance bill showing the correction.

That never came.

A month after that, I get the same bill for $60. I call them up, irate this time. I was quickly handed off to the supervisor, and told that there would be no adjustments on the account, and I was responsible for the $60 because my insurance declined it, and there was no sense in fighting it because I had signed the form stating that I understood that it was a quote, and the amounts could change.

Terrible terrible terrible experience. I recommend avoiding this business at all costs.
