An endless selection of antiques and modern furniture and art a block away from Grand Central. There is alot more stuff than what is on the web site. It is basically an open showroom with dozens of booths where high end antique dealers have their wares on display. Their market is mainly interior designers but it is open to the public. Many pieces have been used on films and photo shoots.

Very interesting place to shop. You don't find this type of store everywhere you go. Employees are ready to help you find what best suits your home or taste.

The Creative Arts Building is also home to EUE Screen Gems and is the location where The Rachael Ray Show is produced. Many commercials and television shows have originated from this production hub over the years and we are honored to be situated in this prime location, surrounded by such New York attractions as The Chrysler Building, The United Nations and Grand Central Terminal.

New York magazine recently called Center44 "impressive" and "well-curated." Architechtural Digest refers to us as "a Manhattan mecca for antiques and vintage furnishings." And Nate Berkus included us in Oprah's O at Home magazine in his list of his 10 favorite places to shop. Then he chose to browse the aisles of Center44 while being interviewed by E! News for Oprah's Big Give, calling us, "My favorite place to shop."

Center44 is presented by Paul Plumadore and Jim Tindell. Their experience in the world of antiques includes 8 years participating in prestigious antiques shows and antiques centers throughout the Northeast under the name River Road Antiques, Ltd. They are also the former managers of Lafayette Antiques at the Warehouse in Harlem, where they first developed their special approach to enjoyable, relaxed antiques shopping.

Located between 2nd and 3rd Aves, just one and a half blocks from Grand Central Station, and surrounded by public parking, Center44 is easily accessible. See our Directions page for more details.

On-site furniture and art restoration services are also available, as well as access to craftsmen skilled in the art of bench-made reproduction. Ask us about these services.
