Located at the historic former site of the Sea Shanty and Delaney's, this popular bayside locale serves fresh seafood on the water in Newport Beach. Bluewater Grill Seafood Restaurant and Oyster Bar specializes in mesquite-charbroiled seafood, house made chowders and pastas with an oyster bar serving raw oysters and clams on the half shell. We print our menu twice a day and feature more than 100 menu items and up to 20 varieties of fresh fish with all the warm sourdough bread and butter you can eat.
Menus are printed daily with the catch of the day. Seafood is absolutely fresh. My favorite meal is the shrimp and scallop skewer. Their cole slaw is out of this world. Moderately price - two people can eat and have cocktails for under $40. A great value.

There fishes are so fresh and they have Chicken and Streak too. The soups are very good also. They have a great Happy Hour too. The Newport Beach location is very nice near the bay of Newport Beach. The people who work there are very nice.

I was very happy with the seafood, drink selection and appetizers ehre. But the outstanding factor is the location and view. There were a lot of locals when I went and I have been back twice since my first visit. Prices are comparable to others in the area so it is a good deal for the high waulity fish and service that you receive.

there hasn't been one thing on their menu that i haven't liked. the oysters are super fresh, the fish is always cooked to perfection, and the chowder hits the spot.

The atmosphere is very casual and relaxed. It's a great place for casual dining or even a date. The seafood is very fresh. The oysters are delicious. The happy hour prices are very affordable. They have 2 other locations, I believe, but the one in Newport offers outdoor dining.

I love dining at both Bluewater Grill's locations. Lido is charming and authentic.....and the District is like walking onto an Italian yacht. The food matches the experience. My kids love it too.
Pros: So much more than just the yummy fresh seafood!

this restaurant is fabulous!!! me and my husband go a few times a month and never regret it. the hostess' are very friendly along with their servers and the fish is fresher than fresh! its a must when it comes to great seafood. and the price is perfect
