Salon Intuitions

I'm a constant "salon hopper". I try one person for one hair cut, and then move on to the next. I haven't ever been truly satisfied. Until I learned about Salon Intuitions and Hailey. I love going there and getting my hair cut. I always look great when I come out. If you're looking for a great place for your hair needs, check out Hailey at Salon Intuitions.

I used to go to Tony & Guy but I just moved to Austin. I read the great reviews online so I booked myself an appointment. It was awesome! My appointment was late at night and all the other hairdressers had left, but the woman who was doing my hair was friendly and didn't rush. The only thing I had to show her for an example of what I wanted was a tiny pic off my cell phone, but she did great with it.

It really was one of the best haircuts I've ever had. The atmosphere/decor is posh and just overall makes you feel pampered. I loved it. I wish I could remember the name of my hairdresser.... I'm pretty sure it was Megan, but I can't quite remember.

The only drawback is that, yes, it's expensive. It's completely worth the price... IF you can afford it. I wish they had some kind of student discount. The only reason I haven't gone back is because I'm on a college budget :(. But I would recommend this salon to ANYONE.

Megan is the most amazing hair dresser in Austin. I have had my hair cut all over the world and when I came to Austin I searched high and low. Finally I saw two girls in town and asked them who cut their hair - they both told me about Megan. Now everybody I know goes to her and they all rave about her. She is amazing!

Hailey Chau has been cutting my hair for almost 5 years and is amazing at what she does. Im pretty high maintainance when it comes to my hair, and she manages to exceed my expectations every time. She texturizes my hair so it falls just right and requires little product or styling. I also can totally relax in her chair because I trust her and know I will leave happy. Shes also hilarious and fun to talk to :-)

Pros: love the atmosphere of the salon, and they offer wine :-)

I'm usually a barber shop patron, but having not found any barbers who could listen to instructions lately, I decided to go to the dark side and step through the doors of a salon. Well, Hailey's cut my hair a few times now, and it's been great. She's a funny gal who'll make you look good when you walk out the door.

And when you're done with your haircut, you can walk over to the Flying Saucer and tip back a cold one. That's a win-win.

She gives the exact haircut that you ask for. Also, she is able to "thin out" thick hair. I left with a precise, modern, fun haircut and with a smile!

The salon is modern and has a cool vibe, but most of all the stylists are extremely talented. Hailey does awesome haircuts and Bonnie does amazing color, but you won't be disappointed with any of the stylists here! They'll greet you with a smile and offer you a drink and make you feel pampered! Lisa

i first got my hair cut by hailey several years ago and was blown away with how it turned out! i've had great haircuts before but nothing compares to the work that hailey does. absolutely fantastic! even when i'm not exactly sure what i want she always knows what's going to look good and i am always pleased with the results. hailey is the only person i go to for a haircut!

Ladies (and gents),
Erin Rattan has done wonders with my hair when it comes to color! I met Erin almost 2 years ago as I was helplessly looking to find someone that could actually blend colors while making a bold statement but not look too over the top. I fell in love with her work and have seen her ever since! Erin paired me up with Rebekah and it was a hair match made in heaven. I have curly hair that is super frizzy and has a mind of its own. If you have curly hair you know exaclty what I'm talking about. No one has ever been able to cut and actually style my mane...properly. Rebekah did a most excellent job. My husband's words were "You look absolutely amazing." Now if that doesn't make a womans heart melt I don't know what will. These girls rock! So think ERIN when you need a COLOR and Rebekah to follow with a fab CUT and STYLE!!!

I've lived in Austin for many years....but always traveled to Dallas to get my hair cut. I discovered Hailey through my sister (who has been getting her hair cut from Hailey for a long time now)....and have now found my AUSTIN hair lady!! She's AWESOME. I've been getting my hair cut from Hailey for about a year now. She is not only a great hair stylist, but is energetic, creative, and really easy going. She gives you what you want, but has the smarts to tell you what looks good with your face or lifestyle. Her salon is super new, nice, and clean!...great location at the Triangle! HIGHLY recommended!! It's a great salon!!

I went to Hailey for the first time this morning and was blown away! Finally a great place North of downtown! The salon is beautiful and mod and everyone there was super sweet. Hailey asked me what I wanted to do but I told her to do what needed to be done since my hair was in such bad shape. She went straight to it and it came out HOT! Hailey is super meticulous. My boyfriend tackled me when I got home ;-) I have an appt for a color next week, I can't wait!

I've been going to Hailey for almost a year (I started going to her when she worked for another salon). After my first haircut with Hailey, I swore I'd never go to another stylist. After months of not getting the right haircut at other salons, I made an appointment with Hailey. My hair was long & unruly, so I asked her to do whatever she thought would look best on me. I walked out with the best hair I've ever had! Hailey is absolutely amazing at designing a hair style that fits the shape of your face and head. The location of Salon Intuitions is very convenient (central austin) and easy to find. The salon is welcoming, bright, and modern. In my opinion, Hailey at Salon Intuitions is a Hair Genius!

This is the best salon. Hailey is the best stylist. She made me feel pretty again and did not cut too much off. She is helping me to grow my hair and really proved it to me. Plus she is such a doll. You can't help, but like her. And the best colorist is Bonnie, I have never been more satisfied about my color as I am after she does it. She too, is a doll. There is no doubt, this is the best salon I have ever been to and the friendliest. Don't pass this wonderful opportunity and experience up. Erin is my hair colorist soulmate. I can vaguely describe what I think I might want... and like a mind reader she gives you options, but then is truly honest about what will look best. And is right. I LOVE HER!
LOVE HER.

Haley just gave me the hottest, most amazing haircut I think I have ever had. No I don't think, I know. My hair has been cut for 2 and 1/2 days and the compliments are just getting excessive!! Best bangs I have ever had. My 19 year old brothers even complimented me genuinely.... Haley must be a miracle worker.

HALEY & ERIN Combo = beyond magazine worthy hair. seriously i don't why you are still reading this, go get your hair done. you won't have to buy your own drinks for weeks.

Megan is simply incredible. She use to work at Tony&Guy and I have followed her to Salon Intuitions. She is fantastic at cutting/styling and understands how I want my hair to look, even though I don't do a very good job of explaining it. I have never had a negative experience, and you can tell she really listens when you're talking to her. What's better is that she takes her time to perfect your hair to make sure that you like it. Her dedication is very admirable. So if you're looking for a genuine cut? Get it good, do it right, and visit the lovely ladies at Salon Intuitions. You won't regret it. ^_~

I had recently gone to another salon close by and they did a horrible job to say in the least and was visiting a friend of mine who lives in the triangle and thought I'd give them a try. They did a good job of fixing the disaster that my head was and I look decent again. Definitely worth the money, thanks for the great work.

Rebekah is incredible; she is the only person I trust with my hair and I always leave loving what she has done.

I've been going to her for several years and after a while of growing my hair out I went in and told her to chop it all off. I didn't bring any pictures or have any suggestions which could be rather risky, but she made it look amazing!

Since my hair is short short (I'm talking boy short here!) it is important that it grows out well and it really does; I love it at every point between cuts.

I really can't recommend her enough!

I've been getting my hair cut from Hailey for the past few years. I migrated with her to this salon because she knows (sometimes better than me, I think) how to make my head look fab! The salon is very chic and the people who work there are all fun and welcoming.

I went in today for a cut, and Hailey asked me if I'd like her to tweeze my eyebrows. I was a bit hesitant at first, because I've never waxed or tweezed around the entire brow and I didn't want to end up looking any gayer than I already do! But Hailey knew exactly what she was doing, it was what she called "organizing" them. They look great without looking like they've been full-on doctored up (which they have been, ha)!!!

Anyway, I don't think there is enough room to describe how great this place and group of stylists are (AND I have to go show off my new do and brows now) - SO JUST GO CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF!

Pros: Clean, Chic, Welcoming, Skilled and Attentive Staff

Cons: The only con would be if you DIDN'T get your work done here!

Haley ALWAYS gives the perfect haircut!! If you are looking for a professional Hairstylist--Salon Intuitions is the place to go. I have been getting my haircut and colored with Haley and the Intuitions crew for about 2 years now and I have NEVER left disappointed. It is an inviting and cool atmosphere. I love the products they use and sell. I cannot say enough good things about this Salon. Trust me you WILL not leave unsatisfied!!

I've been having my hair cut by Antonia for four years and yes, I have seen other stylists in between. But the fact is I go back to her every time. In an hour or less Antonia will wash, cut, style my hair, and recommend product and maintenance tips! Because my time is valuable, she's worth the appointment and now that she's at Salon Intuition I really love the new atmosphere...you'll leave the salon like you're walking on air!

Pros: The whole shop is super personable

So I?m a yuppie. I'm not Metro. I fix things around the house. I don't pamper myself. I go to the cheapest fastest barber i can find. That was until I walked into this place. Hailey made me feel at home, went to work on my hair, and I was truly impressed with her attention to detail. She actually enjoys what she does, and takes pride in it. It shows too! I received compliments the next day, which had never happened before. I'm hooked. This is the only place in Austin that even remotely seemed like they had what it takes to command a higher level of clientele.

I'll second any recommendations for Hailey and Erin- I had my hair coloured and styled by them on Tuesday and it looks AMAZING. I've been complimented by virtually everyone I know on my new color and style. These women are fantastic and the salon itself was comfortable and well-run. I'm telling all my friends to go here for their next haircut.

I have never written a review for any thing, but felt compelled to do so after such great service at Salon Intuitions. Upon arriving for my first visit, I was welcomed warmly and given a chance to take in the modern salon design-perfect! After getting my complementary drink, my colorist, Bonnie asked a few detailed questions and gave me the perfect all over color!! The perfect shade of dark brown - no red, no blue!! Impressive. My stylist Hailey was wonderful as well. She listen gave a few suggestions and continued to cut and style to perfection. I looked great and felt great and will be a lifelong customer!!!

Antonia at Salon Intuitions is AMAZING!! I've lived in Texas now for 25 years and my search for the perfect person to do my hair has ended.....I have fine, thin hair and she does absolutely amazing things with it......I trust her completely to cut my hair. I am constantly getting compliments!!! She's the best!!!!!

I love and adore Erin. She changes my life every time she colors my hair. My mom who has never had a successful color in her life drove all the way from Dallas for Erin to color her hair for my wedding..... AND IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! My mom looked instantly younger but completely natural. Hailey cut my mom's hair and it was fantastic. Salon Intuitions is a must!!

Hailey, the owner of Salon Intuitions, has been cutting my hair for about five years now. She delivers amazingly chic and creative haircuts that have gotten me tons of compliments from friends and strangers alike over the years. Several other reviewers mentioned all of the compliments her haircuts illicit, and it's true! I think her secret is that she is not only a very talented stylist, but she also reads her customers' personalities, and then devises a haircut that reflects the particular person, both their facial shape and who they are. I have never left her salon without feeling good about myself and the way I looked. In fact, I always leave feeling GREAT!

In sum, I highly recommend both Hailey and Salon Intuitions. You won't find any stylist prima donnas or pushy salespeople here. But you will find great haircuts, a place that makes you feel good, and a product that will keep you coming back over and over again!

Salon Intuitions specializes in the art of beauty. Conveniently located in the Triangle, their professionally trained stylists are knowledgable in the latest styles and offer customers personalized service and the latest cutting edge hairstyles. Like watching an artist paint...or a sculptor sculpt...Hailey is a true artist. I've never trusted a stylist to just create a look for me without giving a long list of what I want & don't want. She listens attentively and carefully creates a customized look. When I walk out of there I feel better than ever. There are no cookie cutter cuts here. You just gotta go.

I've been going to Meghan for over a year now. She is always personable and has really gotten to know me. When I first met her I sat down in her chair and said, "Just do something to my hair to make it look better. If I don't like it, it will grow back." What I got was an amazing style that suits my face and lifestyle. I've never ever walked away from an appointment unhappy. Meghan takes her time and has AMAZING scissor skills. Plus, she doesn't try and push a lot of unnecessary products on me - just what I need for my hair to look great. People literally stop me in stores, in the drive thru at Starbucks and ask who does my hair. I will never let anyone else do my hair. (Except Hailey who I used when Meghan was on vacation. She is also fantastic!)

The salon is clean and very urban Austin. You'll never be ignored or feel uncomfortable there. I can't say enough nice things about them. They truly are an amazing group of ladies and I love recommending them.

I had gone to Erin several times before for my color at her old salon, but I cannot say enough about how AWESOME the new place is! Its a cross between an art gallery and a salon. Everyone is so friendly, the place is beautiful, plenty of parking, have a glass of wine with your color/cut, and enjoy!!! Erin does a great job on color, so ask her her if you're unsure! Love, love it!

I visited Salon Intuitions for the first time last week. My boyfriend has been going to Hailey for years, so I decided to visit her for a drastic hair change. The salon is beautiful, and everyone working there was super friendly and accomodating. It is obvious that they really care about their clients' happiness. I received an excellent haircut from Hailey, and my friend recieved an equally excellent tint from Erin. Since then, I have received numerous compliments about my new hairstyle. I will definitely be visiting again. If you want a quality haircut in a nice environment, Salon Intuitions is the place for you!

Antonia has been cutting my hair since February 2005 back at Toni & Guy Barton Creek. I haven't let anyone else cut my hair ever since! Prior to seeing her, I'd never met anyone who'd really made me 100% happy with my hair. Every time I come in, she always asks me a lot of detailed questions to make sure she fully understands what I want. I drastically changed my hair style last time I went in, and I LOVE it and the compliments I've been getting. Not only is she really talented, but also very friendly and talkative.

I've been going to Salon Intuition since its opening, and the staff is always fun, laidback, and up-to-date with the latest trends. I always recommend this place to anyone who asks me.

Because I am an actress, and I have to look a particular way for certain roles, I am rather fastidious about my haircuts. I have been going to Hailey for a few years, and she never fails to give me a spectacular haircut (even when I have a bizarre request for one of my characters). I get compliments on my hair often, and I owe it all to Hailey! I really love the new salon. Salon Intuitions is in a wonderful central location. It's gorgeous, and it has a really upbeat energy -- I always leave feeling revived. The employees are highly-experienced, friendly, and professional...and the haircuts/colors are fabulous! Definitely worth checking out!

I have been going to Meghan since she worked at Toni & Guy (for a little over a year now). Never in my life has my hair looked so good. I can't even count how many compliments I have gotten since I have been going to her. I have even recommended my friends to her, and they love her!

I can't thank Hailey enough! My hair grows fast and gets wild and Hailey always makes me look great and takes care of me! All I want is to look professional and not worry about my hair! With Hailey I get that plus a great look. I have been asked by business leaders in meetings, "who does your hair?". I would drive across the state to see her! The new salon, Salon Intuitions, is a great place. It feels like home! All the ladies are super friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. I like to go early, walk around the area, and then just enjoy the company. If you want to make new friends and look great, go visit Salon Intuitions!

Hailey has been cutting my hair for years now. My girlfriend doesn't allow me to go to anyone else because Hailey does an amazing job. Once I started going to Hailey even guys commented on my haircuts. I love Intuitions central location and the modern decor is great; there's so much else I can get done while in the Triangle too. I'd recommend Hailey, and Salon Intuitions in general to anyone looking for a new person or place for their hair!

I LOVE my hair but i LOVE hailey at salon intuition more. She is simply amazing and I don't think my life could go on without her :). She's been giving me fabulous hair for about 5 years now. People always stop me to ask who does my hair and compliment it....people at the grocery store, the guy at the gas station, my freinds, my coworkers. It's all because hailey rocks. I also got some sweet color placment recently from Andrea. She is also super awesome, and I will be going back to her soon. I highly reccomend this Salon. You're missing out if you haven't experienced it! Good hair can change your life!
