Never disappointed 5 Star Rating - World class

ALWAY great food, great presentation, great service. Never flinch spending big money. The Pappas Brothers know how to do restaurant business and should be teaching some others in Houston how to do service right. My hat is off to you for training your staff in customer service done right!! As well, Your desserts and coffee are fabulous but hard on my waistline!!

Good Food, Great Service 4 Star Rating - Very good

If you love Cajun seafood, and appreciate good service, it doesn't get any better than Pappadeaux. Any of the salmon specials are good. Get the bisque, get the etouffee, most of everything will make you happy. Share a crawfish trio with someone! I do not recommend the fried entrees. The portions are huge, but it's fried overkill. Noise and the wait will make you cringe, but the service will make up for it. Great waitstaff.

Pros: good service, most food specials, crawfish trio
Cons: , noisy crowd, the wait

What I did on my layover in Houston 5 Star Rating - World class

On a trip from Charlotte, N.C to Quito, Ecuador, with a layover of 6 hours in Houston. Most people would see this as a problem, not my husband and I, we saw it as a opportunity to enjoy cajun cuisine in our favorite restaurant. The food and the bloody marys were our priorty, and the service made it better. A order of a greek salad tossed fresh in front of you with ingredients of your chosing with a couple of delicious shrimp added. Then of course the greatest gumbo to come close to our favorite New Orleans Gumbo pot restaurant with a side of hot french bread. And if this was not enough then our main entree of blackened snapper with a creamy lemon butter wine sauce with lobster, crab, crawfish, and spinach and a side of dirty rice. We left full and content to continue on our trip to Equador.
