"It may seem like one of those adorable boutiques that sprang up overnight, but Archangela, on Brooklyn's Bedford Avenue, has actually been open since December 2005- that's forever where the fast-changing Williamsburg neighborhood is concerned. Owner Stephanie Cammarata saw the neighborhood and its fashion-forwardness heating up and zeroed in on the one style niche that hadn't yet been filled in the 'hood: shoes. Two years later clothing and accessories were added to the mix. But shoppers don't flock here for her market savvy; they rely on her style instincts to present a tightly edited, always-fresh mix of goods. And her unfussy-chic style philosophy means that everything Archangela sells is ultra-wearable and won't date the second season over."
