Diva Dogs is a family owned and operated small business. They provide personal care for our fur-baby at our door step. Look no further a mobile day SPA for our dog, and A+ training lessons for you. I love them!

Diva Dogs has been grooming our dog for a few months now. A few weeks ago we got an email notice that our price for grooming the same dog was going up, from $100.00 to $140.00. That??s a 40% increase which I feel is quite a leap. Two days ago Jerel (an owner and the groomer) came to groom our dog and I thought it was only fair to mention to him that I thought the 40% cost increase was a bit steep. After all, I feel it??s better for customers to voice their feedback directly to a business, be it positive or negative. He took my comments to Cindy (his wife, and the other owner) and she sent me a defensive email regarding my comment about pricing to Jerel. I responded, clarifying my comment and giving my reasons for my thoughts. She sent another defensive email stating that she feels her rates are fair. I replied again that I didn't mean to make her defensive but felt it was only fair for me to give them feedback personally, good or bad. At this point my topic was not the pricing but my being able communicate my thoughts. She then called my house and left a message that she didn't want to have multiple emails discussing the price and sent an email (another one!) that she was no longer servicing our dog. When I called her back as she requested (and left a message) I reminded her that I did not even send the original email. Knowing that emails can set the wrong tone, I told Jerel in person. It was Cindy who sent emails and I was replying to her.

I feel it??s completely unprofessional for someone to refuse to do service for you when you provide honest feedback. And I was never impolite. Cindy got defensive, sent emails my way (which I politely responded to) and then complained that she didn??t want emails discussing the subject and cancelled the remaining grooming appointments.

It??s so frustrating communicating with this company. I would be happy to provide the emails (written by her and replied to by me) upon request so that you can see for yourself that my tone was not impolite and her response was unwarranted.
