Henry's Salon

I've been seeing Katie O'Shea for a little over two years now. I followed her from her previous salon to Henry's which I much enjoy going to since it's like a little spa getaway. Never have I found a stylist that I've wanted to stick with more until I met Katie. I trust in her skills so much that almost every time I see her I tell her to do what ever she feels. I have never been disappointed in a cut or color. She has given me some of my favorite hair styles. The last one I got has been my all time favorite cut. She's very personable, genuine and creative. Not only is Katie a joy, but the entire staff at Henry's is friendly and talented.

I was a referral from a good friend that told me to see Michael after I had a lot of bad cuts and colors in the past.
When I met Michael for the first time I new I was in good hands. You know when you meet someone for the first time and feel completely comfortable and no stress it is good but can he cut and color? Well after a great consultation he started and I could tell he loves what he does, and has great passion for his work. When I left I Looked 10 years younger. I was taken step by step on the products that he was using and the way to style my new hair. I LOVE the calm environment and the fact there is so much talent in this salon. I will tell all my friends about Michael Eatmon and the wonderful experience. Triple A service. Definitely well be back.

I went to Kate Shapland because of other City Search reviews. She did not fail to deliver. I had a wonderful experience with her. She was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. It was easy to talk with her and I left with exactly what I wanted!!!

I will definitely be seeing her at her new salon. Salon 17 located on 17th and Williams in Uptown. It's a few blocks further from where I work, but totally worth the drive!

I hope you go to see her as well and if you do, just call her up!

I have been going to Paul for 7 years now. Paul provides the best cuts and color ever! I always recieve compliments on my hair. In addition, Paul has an awesome personality & I always look forward to our visits. The other thing that is great about Paul, is that in 7 years he has never been late or ever cancelled an appointment with me.

Henry's Salon is a top of the line salon where you can recieve facials, pedicures/manicures and waxings and the best line of products all under one roof. I have been to many salons in Cherry Creek which don't even come close. All the staff is very friendly and personable and go out of their way to make sure your visit is excellant.

I had to wait 30 minutes for my cut and color. When I arrived on time, Paul Rabe was just starting another client's haircut. By the way, he set my appointment for me. I was not happy with my cut but the color was done well. He barely apologized for making me wait. I told him that I didn't have enough time for both the cut and color. He assured me that he could have both done by the time I needed to leave. He took an hour longer than promised and I missed my next appointment.

I went to Stacey Haptonstahl for a haircut, she did a pretty good job. I then scheduled an appt to have her do my wedding hair and my bridesmaid hair. I called today to schedule a trim with her and they told me she has left the salon. The receptionist said it was Stacey's responsibility to call me herself, not the receptionists job. Clearly, Stacey did not bother to call!!!

Needless to say, if you run across Stacey...do NOT count on her for anything. Clearly she doesn't value her clients and doesn't want to keep them. Spread the word!!! I know I will!!!

I've gone to Andee Becker for a few years and followed her to Henry's when she left a previous salon. Andee give great cuts that last and her color is amazing. She is the first stylist in years to get my color the way I REALLY wanted it. Here's the proof: three friends have started seeing her and more plan to schedule appts. Also a big fan of Hanery's Salon: love the decor; everyone that works there is friendly and welcoming; and they have a free parking lot!!!

I went to Henrys salon and had my hair done with Andee. She started doing my hair a few years ago when my old salon closed....its usually hard to switch stylists..but she made it easy. She listens to what you want and makes it happen. She also did my wedding and made sure we all looked great all night! The hair wash stations are sooo relaxing...I want one in my house.

i have followed andee around town for the last 5 years and this is the best salon of them all. it is clean, relaxing and the staff are always very friendly. they carry nice, high-end products but are still very down to earth folks. i'd highly recommend it!

Andee is fantastic! I seriously had the best haircut of my life with her a few weeks ago. And it lasted a really long time. Even as my hair began to grow out, it kept a nice shape.

The salon is beautiful - very schmancy. It feels like a day spa. But the staff is totally down to earth and friendly. I recommend it!

This place is great. Andee Becker cuts my hair and I am always pleased. Somehow Andee fixes my sloppy unkempt head perfectly every time. She and the rest of the staff whom I?ve met are warm and friendly. The salon itself has comfortable waiting areas, warm decor, tvs and music?I hear there?s wine sometimes too. They also carry a wide range of products. The staff is well educated and can surely recommend the best products for you.

I went in for a haircut a couple of months ago, and I'm booking my second appt. for this week, so we'll see what happens. Anyways, during my first visit, the receptionist asked me to fill out a form, which I completed and returned promptly. She must have thrown the form in the trash, because not only did she never check me in (I waited for 40 minutes), but this time when I called to schedule another appointment, it was as if I'd never come in before. Eventually, the stylist checked with me (he'd apparently noticed that I was sitting there a crazy amount of time and asked who I was waiting for). Turned out it was him. He felt awful and tried to make up for it by offering a glass of wine. The haircut was decent and lasted for a while, so that helped balance out the experience.

Changing stylists is always difficult. But it was something I had to do when I moved to Denver last summer. Luckily I found Kate Shapland. She truly is a Master Stylist! And as a Master it comes as no surprise that she seems to know everything about "product" and she will help you choose which type will work best for the look you want. (She's also a fantastic colorist, if that's something you need.) In addition to her hair expertise, Kate is also an awesome person. She's funny, smart, witty, very stylish, and always makes you feel welcome and comfortable.

Kate also goes above and beyond as I found one day... I arrived for my scheduled appointment and she told me that she had been thinking about my hair and then we discussed her different ideas. The fact that she's thinking about my cut before I even get there makes me feel like I'm more than just a client.

About Henry's in general... It's one of the nicest "clip joints" I've been in. Great location with free parking. And I like the open and spacious layout. The shampoo room is my favorite place with it's wall fountain and multi-colored lighting that hits the ceiling. Very friendly atmosphere too. Highly recommended!

Marc permanently straightened my overly curly frizzy hair. It has been a problem for many many years, actually all of my life. First he gave me a free consultation to decide what I should do with my hair.
On the day of the appointment he took time to prepare my hair for the straightening. After a few hours of non stop work I had the hair I always dreamed of.
Marc was very helpful in telling me how to take care of my new hair. He gave me an awesome haircut too.
I read the bad review on him and that guy is completely wrong. Marc cares for all his clients and I am living proof. I will see him again in a couple of months for a touch up. I highly recommend Marc. He is wonderful!

I never had visited a true stylist before seeing Kate. After the first time, I have never and will never get my hair cut by anyone else. Instead of dreading getting it cut, I look forward to it because I know it is going to turn out great and it is going to be fun just getting it done. Kate knows what style suits your hair and look best and I get tons of compliments everytime she cuts it. The scalp shampoo massage is amazing and worth the cost of the haircut alone. If you are looking for a place to get your hair done where you don't have to stress about it, know your hair is going to look great and also know you are going to have a fun time in the process, then visit Kate now.

anthony not only knows how to cut all types of hair, but he makes you feel beautiful and welcome from the moment you step through the door. I have curly hair and it is next to impossible to find someone who can cut your hair in something flattering and young. anthony was able to do that then some!

I got my chemical hair straightening done from this salon. There were so many things that went wrong 1) My hair on the top was over processed and began to break. 2) The hair on the back began to curl in 5 days even though it was supposed to be straight for atleast 5 months. 3) my hair was smelling so bad because of the chemicals left over from the treatment. Very soon I began to shed lot of hair, few hundreds everyday and very soon bald spots appeared on my head.

I went to Henry's on Valentines day, and what a great girft from my Husband. Cut and color. She did an amazing job. My hair looked fabulous, volume, volume, and the perfect cut. I asked for something very specific and she did! The salon was gorgeous, beautiful lighting, friendly staff...Watch out Ken Paves!

I went in the other day to get my hair cut from Mark Harmon and he did a great job. I have been to several other salons in the Denver area but nothing really wowed me. until I had my hair cut by Mark As Mark was cutting my hair he was letting me know how I can take care of if. I was very happy with the outcome. I plan on going back for some color here soon. I would sugguest Mark Harmon to anyone in the area that needs a hair cut. I have told my friends about Mark and the salon and I hope they use him.

I was horrified to get a call from Michael about the recent review posted on this site. Michael is the ultimate professional and when he recently moved salons, enlisted my help to ensure all his clients were contacted via email and telephone. I can honestly say for a fact that every client he had contact information for (well over 200) were contacted and many called back to thank him. Not only is he a top stylist, but he is one of the most client-centric stylists I've ever met. He is the penultimate professional, and his move to Henry's is sure to be a treat for his clientle - its a beautiful, professionally run salon lead by industry experts who've been in the business for years and offers top tier customer service. Michael is excellent, comes highly recommended by all, and ultimately, the bad review that was posted obviously must be coming from someone with a personal vendetta. So ignore the nonsense, and contact Michael at Henry's if you'd like to get real recommendations from his clients- that range in history from 15 years to as recent as in the last 6 months. Its a shame that people use a public forum like this to try to impact the business of a man who is well known, respected, and trusted as one of Denver's top stylists.

I just read that lame email that we all know is not true about your clients and are very sorry that Jua Salon is going to those levels to try and hurt you. You have the best clients and they will all post I am sure.
Thank you for my great color and highlights. You rock. How many more people is JUA loosing. I keep hearing they are going to be closing there doors. I have known Michael and he is the most geniune, caring and professional stylst I have met. He is the ONLY one I would trust, not only with me, but with my 2 beautiful daughters. (she wants more red...) He listens, has impeccable taste and is a perfectionist. Moving salons isn't easy but a few clients will get lost, unintentionally, through the move. I am sure he is contacting each and everyone he can, as quickly as he can. I am sure that his previous salon misses him but wish him well, for Michael has a way about him. Michael, keep smiling and know that there are many people that care and support you.... I wish I could still come to you, as well as my daughters, but I wish you all the best. Henry's Salon gained a wonderful person, sylist and a whole lot of your good energy!! Go see Micheal Eatmon.... He will make your day, as he did mine, each and everytime I saw him!!!!! I HAD been going to Michael Eatmon after my friend recommended me to him 3 years ago. Last week, when I showed up for my appointment, (at his previous salon) I was informed that he had quit sudenly and they didn't know where he went. I called my friend and SHE had gotten a call from him and where he was now at. Guess her business was more important than mine because I still haven't gotten a call from him to at least apologize. Not cool. Though I liked MIchaels work, it isn't worth it if he bolts without warning leaving his clients henging out there with nasty roots showing! Not to mention wasting our time. There are better, more professional stylists out there!

Before moving to Colorado I have been going to Stacy H to do my hair!! I have extrememly curly, ethnic hair that I wear straight and she is one in a million that can work magic!She knows hair.... I followed her from Cherry Creek to Henrys Salon and I have to say that she has definately taken a step up. The salon is professional, upsale, relaxing and Stacy H is an asset that I definately recommend!!

Stacey H has been cutting my hair for over four years. I highly recomend her. She's done an absolutley exceptional job every time. She goes the extra mile that others do not. I've followed her from Cherry Creek to Uptown and love the new place. If you're looking for someone new with innovating ideas I definitely recomend Stacey.

I live in the area and am always hesitante about trying new salons because I have really long curly hair and no one can ever seem to cut it right. I made an appointment with Stacy H. and while I was waiting to see her I was offered a beverage and given great customer service by the receptionist. When Stacy called me over to her chair I was blown away by all the ideas she had about my hair. I told her that I was sick of my hair and needed something new but wanted to keep the length. Stacy gave me the best hair cut ever. She was amazing! She kept me entertained the whole time and I can honestly say that my hair has never looked and felt so good!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SALON and STACY H!!

I've been going to Henry for, I don't even know how many years now, but long enough that I followed him when he opened his new salon. After going to him once, I've never even thought about using anyone else for cuts or color and like the title suggests, I dread the day when he decides to stop cutting hair. I don't even ask for any type of cut most of the time. I can just sit and he'll do something amazing!

BEAUTIFUL salon filled with friendly people. Easy acces, same day appointments, great place for products as well.

To me, there is no other place to go....

You could say that I am someone who tends to define herself by her last haircut and color...That being said, I would define my experience today at Henry's as fantastic! You are greeted (very warmly) by a professional team and are treated with dignity and respect. The entire team seems at ease and very much themselves (no drama here, folks). The minute you step in you feel like you belong to an elite little club. Very fun and just the right atmosphere to relax.

NOW, let me tell you about Anthony Rizzuto: FAB-U-LOUS! Imagine a hair stylist / colorist who actually listens to what you want and gives you something even better. And, what a personality---LOVE him! Anthony has been doing my hair since the beginning of this year and I've walked away happy each and every time. His attention to detail (again, he truly listens) is second to none. I haven't had a bad hair day all year...and great is that?

I love Henry?s Salon. It is beautiful, modern and relaxing. The staff is very inviting and friendly. Most importantly, I love the way my hair looks when I am done. Anthony is funny, easy to work with and knows what he is doing. He always gives me the perfect cut for my face and the best color for my skin tone. I would recommend Henry's to all of my friends.

I am a client of Marc Laupretre over at Henry's Salon and he is the most amazing stylist!!! Cut, Color, Men (sent my husband to him), and Hair straightening expert. The Atmosphere and decor at Henry's are amazing! I love the neighborhood!!! Blocks from Downtown, close to Cherry Creek, free parking, and love the neighborhood!!! Just discovered this great new salon. I had a cut and color with Mark and he is amazing. He gave me the most gorgeous blonde highlights . . . just in time for summer!!!!!! The salon is beautiful with plenty of free parking, which is rare treat since it is essentially downtown.

I also had an appointment with Asya who does amazing facials and the perfect bikini wax. Finally, a one-stop salon!!

Ive lived in downtown Denver for years. As a local, I'm always looking for new and exciting ways to enjoy my home-town. Recently I visited Henry's salon, a new salon on 17th and Pennsylvania, and met Mark Harmon. This cute little southern boy is new himself to Denver and an amazing hair dresser. He is full of exciting ideas about hairstyles, truly listens to my wants, and matches the perfect hair cut with my needs. I highly recommend Mark, and Henry's Salon, to anyone looking for style and excellent customer service.
