I'm a returning customer with two keratin processes done and I love how soft and shiney my hair results were. I've also received fantastic hair cuts by Zohora and her staff. This is a wonderful salon and I'm dissappointed if someone has any negative comments since they're clearly not communicating with their stylist. or they're one of those people who are sour by nature. Don't worry, try them out! The staff go out of their way to make sure you're happy with your results. You won't be dissapoinnted!!! I've had the best compliments on how my hair shines and the cuts since I've been going to Hair Affairs! (:

I was in desperate need of a haircut (it was way too boring) & I had seen such great reviews on here so I decided to give it a try. It was close to where I live & being a college student, I'm on a budget. I got Emily & she was wonderful. She not only did an amazing job on my hair, but she actually did what I had asked. She was also very friendly, but still professional. I will definitely be going back in 7 weeks.

I am a very selective person in regards to my haircut simply because my head is full of cowlicks and it just has to be cut right. When I find the right Salon and Stylists I stick to them. I've been going to hair affairs since the day it opened and it has been nothing but a pleasure. In fact, the experience get's better every time if that's even possible. The Atmosphere is fun yet sophisticated and the employees are too. The salon is very friendly and inviting with high energy among its stylists. They're pros all the way ,like me all my friends ive recommended this salon are hooked up as well, i can guarantee, you will too.

After experiencing literally hundreds of bad highlights and hair cuts over the years, I finally found the perfect sylist. Zohara is truly talented at what she does-- my highlights are always absolutely gorgeous and I am constantly getting complements about how beautiful the color looks. I am a natural brunette, but the way zohara colors and tones my hair, the blonde looks absolutely natural on me. Her highlights, besides being dead on in terms of color, are the perfect thickness and placement throughout my hair.
Zohara is also amazing at hair cutting. I've always had flat, volumeless hair that is just past my shoulders. She has completely transformed my look into something modern and yet easy to maintain, with lots of layers that create volume and frame my face beautifully. And I was able to keep the length.
I have gone to stylists who charge three times the amount Zohara does and Zohara is better than all of them, without exception. Her prices are reasonable, she has a great personality and is fun to talk to, and she really takes care of her clients with amazing customer service.
I also think Hair Affairs overall is a great salon-- it's always clean, has a sleak and modern feeling, and the staff there are all extremely friendly. Everytime I go to Hair Affairs, I feel like I'm walking into a room filled with old friends.
Zohara is by far the best stylist I've ever gone to, and I will NEVER get my hair done by anyone else, ever. I feel beautiful everytime I leave Hair Affairs, and Zohara's combination of mad color and cutting skills, great customer service, and ridiculously cheap prices makes her my only choice. I have to travel for months at a time for work, and I'm so serious about my allegiance to Zohara that I have actually contemplated flying her to wherever I am working just to do my hair. That's how awesome she is.
Do not even think about going to another salon. Go to Hair Affairs . Your won't be disappoinnted.

after my friend recomended this salon, me and my teenage daughter decided to give this salon a shot, we were both very impressed with the atmosphere ,service and the prices.we both got a lot of compliments for our hair at work and my daughter at school
would highly recomend this place for great color and hair cuts.

It took one of the girls at this salon 5 hours to color my hair (the wrong color). My hair is short so there is no excuse for this; It always takes 1.5 hours for the same color at the other salons I've gone to. I was supposed to also get a haircut, but after the amount of time the coloring took and how offbase it turned out, I decided not to stay for a cut. When I went to the register, I was charged DOUBLE what I've paid at the upscale places I usually go to. I couldn't believe they charged me $200 for haircolor that wasn't even what I asked for. I was so disgusted with my experience that I literally cried when I left.

I was looking for a nice salon in the new area I moved to, but now I know why I don't risk going to the small places like this.

I agree with all of these other reviews. I have never been to a salon, so reasonably priced, with such AMAZING service. It was the best hair cut I have ever gotten, and the highlights look great. As long as I live in San Antonio, I will continue to go to Hair Affairs, even though I live 30 minutes away.

Whenever i went to a salon, the ladies would cut my hair all wrong and it would be so frustrating! So when my mom and I saw that Hair Affairs had just opened, we decided to try it; expecting the worst. What we ended up with was truely awesome!
Zohara cuts my hair so good, its like she has been cutting it for years! She makes my hair look so awesome and my hair isnt frustrating me as much.
The people that work there are friendly and try their best to make YOU look your best.
Today, my mom and I got our eyebrows threaded by Zohara and she did such a great job! We still cant believe how good it looks.
Everyone should go to Hair Affairs. You wont be disappointed, I promise.

i have always gone to various salons and never came back happy however i am truly happy with my haircut Adriana listened to the problems i have had before and what i would like to do with my hair after it has been cut. after telling her all this she came up with the best solution and i love it! i now know where i will be going to get my haircuts and refer friends and family. oh and the hand massage and mini facial is a huge perk. Thank You so much for giving me hope back into hair salons you girls are truly amazing!

So, I had been looking for a new salon since I was really unhappy with my previous stylist and was thinking I might have to search around to find the right one for me. Luckily, I read all the great reviews on Citysearch and decided to stop in for a cut. I am so pleased with the results. Zohara was amazing and really knew her stuff and what would look good on me. I am so glad that I went and have already made another appointment.

Being a area manager for a major cosmetic brand i have to meet a lot of important people and have to look very presentable,I have been going to the same stylist for 4 yrs and was growing increasingly unhappy with her ,thats when my sister recommended me Hair Affairs, the stylist listened patiently what i was hating about my hair,she siggested a color and cut. that would compliment my skin tone and face shape.
I have never felt this confident about my self and my looks in years.I highly recommend this salon to every one.

What a relief to finally find a salon that out-performs itself time after time. Both my teenage daughter and I can feel like our salon needs are fully covered and have had numerous services here: Keratin Hair Treatment (straightening - AMZAING RESULTS!!), color, highlights, lowlights, cut, style, etc. We have both used a variety of the stylists and have never once been disappointed. The service is professional and top-notch. I can't recommend this salon enough...as a matter of fact, I carry extras Hair Affairs cards with me so every time I get the comment "Oh, I love your hair" I can pass on the good reviews. Keep up the fantastic work ladies!!

I have tried all the big name salons in san antonio but never had the satisfaction of getting what i really wanted inspite of paying ridiculas prices, it all changed when i gave hair affairs a shot.

I visited earlier this year after reading raving reviews from Citysearch. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience that began when I walked in. As my stylist asked me in, she was noticeably unhappy. I asked how she was and I didn't get an answer. Okay, well I figured, maybe she didn't hear me. After we reviewed my services, she washed my hair. She had gotten water down the back of my shirt. I figured she'd notice & eventually she did, but it was too late. In fact, it was still wet when I left. Not even the blow-dryer helped.

Secondly, I thought the complimentary facial & hand treatment would be the redeeming factor, but I could've skipped both. Let's say the facial was amateur as if this gal was just learning. Not comforting at all and the hand treatment was as if she was just applying lotion...big deal.

After the wash/condition/facial, I was led back to my chair. I had tangles, but I actually think she was the worse one EVER to comb them out! I'm surprised I didn't walk out of there with a headache. I should've grabbed the brush and did it myself! I did walk away with a negative vibe...ay-yay-yay! I've been to a ton of salons and if there's one bad experience whether the atmosphere or stylist's mishap...that's it. I expect them to be "professionals" and focused. Of course, you can have fun, but if you have a funky attitude or there's tension in the air, forget it! I'm supposed to be relaxed & having a good experience for crying out loud!

The other determining factor was the other stylist who was distracting with her attire. She was wearing what looked like "dance-club" attire and high-heels! To each his own, but I thought there are basic standard requirements when you're working as a licensed stylist. Doesn't it matter if you're working with chemicals, dyes and such and aren't there some type of health codes? She was also too chatty with the client. I didn't need to hear some personal stuff.

Well, that's my 2 cents. For the affordability, I'll go somewhere else, not some type of reality-tv "Drama-Central."

I came in with a bad color job from last stylist and am on a limited budget. Z. spent time talking with me about what I wanted, then did a great job correcting the color and styling it within my budget. She is experienced and has a professional attitude. They use high quality products and the customers I saw leaving all had first-rate haircuts or color. Everyone is friendly, nice atmosphere, all ages and backgrounds coming in. This is better than any other I've been to in San Antonio so far and have lived here 10 years.

Hair Affairs is a place to go if you are looking for a quality haircut by great people. I haven't stopped going there since the first time I had their services done (which was a month after they opened). Not only do they cut your hair, but they also give you a mini facial and a great hand massage. I have personally gone to many other salons and this is the cream of the crop, especially when it's half the price of other places.

This place is separates it self from the competition because of its great customer service. You will not forget this experience! It's great to also see the owner be so polite and nice to all her customers, she is there everyday. My wife and I love to go there. We both get haircuts and she always gets her threading done for her facial hair (all her friends complement her on it all the time).

Try it once and you will be hooked.

Dear Zohara,

I had to write this note to you letting you know how pleased I am with your salon, Hair Affairs. Before coming to you I went to four other salons in the 78232 zip code and was very unhappy as you know. I have very coarse, thick, curly hair and if you don?t take the time to style it it?s a waste of time and money for me. All the other salons wanted to make a quick buck and weren?t interested in retaining a customer such as you. You took your time worked with me and my hair and wa-la it is beautiful every week!
As you know I just moved back to San Antonio from New York which I had a stylist that I went to weekly and I loved her. With my hair it is hard to find someone who will take the time and work with me and my hair. Well I can honestly say I have found a new love with Hair Affairs. I would recommend your salon to anyone.

For the longest time I've been going to the nearest precision cuts to get my hair cut. My hair is thick and difficult to work with and I was looking for a particular style that I saw in a magazine. I figured that it was about time I go to a legitimate hair salon but i was dreading having to pay the extra ten or fifteen dollars. I chose hair affairs because i saw their website and thought the prices were reasonable. When I got in, the staff was so friendly, I couldn't believe it. They didn't want me to leave unsatisfied and made sure that I got the cut I was looking for. My cut looks so much better than I could've imagined. I can wear it up, down, curly, or straight and I'm happy with it each way. I would definitely recommend going to hair affairs. The hair cuts are low in cost, and the studio itself is very clean. The staff is so welcoming and willing to get you the look you want. i am never going to a precision cuts again, that's for sure!

Best place to get your hair straightened.

I had been to the hair affairs salon, on one of the busiest day for them. The staff was courteous and up to the par. I got my hair permanently straightened, and with my kind of hair the stylist was just superb, I have had so many comments on my hair and all positive. Thanks a lot for all you have done. I have been to what have been considered the "best" salons in San Antonio...now I have found the best! I had the Keratin Complex treatment with Brooke, who was METICULOUS! The salon is clean, friendly, and upscale without the snooty attitude...they want you to feel comfortable and happy. I highly recommend this salon!

I couldn't be more happy right now. this salon not only gave me a boost of confidence but i am forever changed and will continue my business with these wonderful ladies as well as spread the word as much as i can. I have been looking into getting the keratin complex smoothing therapy as my hair is extremely frizzy and unruly especially in san antonio humidity. The problem was finding a salon that does it, has experience doing it , and at a reasonable price. When you walk in you are welcomed with a warm smile from all the staff members. they pamper you with a wonderful scalp massage, mini facial, and hand treatment!!! As a nurse, and full time mom it was like christmas. I felt very relaxed and important. I left the salon with beautiful, soft, healthy, frizz free hair. I wake up take a shower and go. I feel good and my hair looks amazing. My man loves it too! These wonderful ladies are truly professionals, compassionate, and down to earth. Many many thanks.

After going to the same stylist for the last 7 years,i was very reluctant to try any other salon, but after one of my friends recommended me to try Hair Affairs Salon, I got more than what i expected, A great hair cut and color which came with a free scalp massage , a facial and hand treatment.plus it was Affordable

I just moved to San Antonio with my family for my husband's job and needed my hair fixed. I had it colored where I'm from after having a disaster with doing it myself and it needed major help.
The ladies at Hair Affair were not only very friendly and accomodating but I love the color!! The cut is so
cute and for the first time I actually walked into a salon and had a professional tell me what I needed. This has been a dream of mine to actually have someone tell me what would be good rather than the other way around. This is what stylists go to school for but I've never been able to find one who will be honest and tell me what I need and I loved it and love my hair every time I look in the mirror.
I will definitely go back!

I have been to several salons throughout the city, including some of the those thought to be the best, like Kay Charles and Veronkya's, but nothing beats the services that Zohara offers at her salon, Hair Affairs. I also don't feel like I am paying their expensive rent when I visit and don't believe I am in a "cattle call" - stacking as many people into an hour as possible, with little time for individual attention. Zohara and her staff offer personalization along with beautiful hair. I have never had my color look so good and have a cut that is so flattering. I love the mini facial and exfoliating of hands while getting your hair rinsed - what an added treat!
Spend your time and money here - you won't regret it!

I needed to find a new stylist because I "lost" mine so I called to make an appointment at Hair Affairs anticipating that the appointment would be the first of many "try it and hope for the best" appointments. I don't have to look anywhere else. The service is wonderful and the staff members are friendly and accomodating. Zohara, my stylist, went above and beyond to work around my busy schedule. I got a fantastic cut and the products she used smelled absolutely delicious. The salon is contemporary, cozy and comfortable. A fantastic experience! And I found my "lost" stylist, Kerri, there, too. It's great to have a salon that I can go to and expect an incredible hair experience from 2 different stylists!

thank u so much for opening a very classy and trendy salon in the area.all the other salons i have gone are either pricy or nasty,my friend recommended me hair affairs on thousand oaks dr after a color and high light disaster i had at another salon.i was skeptic about the quality of work, but it dint last long ,zohara the stylist was very patient and listened what exactly i wanted done with my hair, gave me some expert recomendations which i hesitantly accepted. and i am glad i did.that girl's got magic for hair
